I’ve got two “me original” decks I’ve been enjoying. 1. Gardevoir with Relicanth and the new 130 HP Drifblim. Use Klefki to shut down Iron Thorns, Fan Rotom, Squakabilly, Ogerpon… as you set up and build up. 2. Use Eiscue ex and Noctowl to search out Great Tree, evolving straight into Greninja ex. And if the opponent plays Area Zero, attack with Palkia VSTAR.
@@BlueThunder-x4x Still a work in progress, trying to figure out consistency should Great Tree be prized. Feel free to swap Eiscue ex for another Basic Tera ex that can attack for Water/Colorless. I chose Eiscue since I’m already playing Powerglass, and wanted to OHKO Hydrapple while stalling Regidrago. Water Ogerpon is probably better since it can be searched by Irida, but its attacks don’t synergize with the deck. I actually found a bug with chansey, managed to flip a heads and took the extra prize, than once I took said prize it glitches, going from a raging bolt ex to another chansey, giving me another prize flip chance, though it got tails so I don't know if it would have worked or continued
Yeah, Crispin’s text is a little confusing. It needs a reminder text, like: (If you only take one basic energy from your deck, you must put it into your hand.)
When this new set came out I took your deck list for your aticuno/munkidori/palkia list and added crispin to it.....star portal and crispin on the same turn is nuts. I have had sooooo many rage quits once they realize they will just sit on the sideline and watch me ping em for 70 and munki another 50 to their board before they can get set up lol.

Love the retro tcg poke channel idea, hope to have it with us soon
To me, item lock is best when you can do it turn 2 and consistently do it every turn thereafter. (or at least enough to get a big lead). Galvantula is really cool but the inconsistency for immediate item lock preventing decks like Zard from setting up makes it mid tier. Good when it works but too inconsistent
Agreed. This applies to all the new Tera mons bar maybe terapagos ex. They need to have a way to make the 3 different energy work. Crystal is good but the rest just feels clunky.
I haven't see this deck work consistently. Granted I have been playing your pecharunt poison deck on ladder but even when it does setup its usually too late.
Already fought this, already hate it. It's BRUTAL how hard they can hit consistently and the fact that the only hard counter is to build without relying on any items is such a pain.
Dark, I’ve enjoyed watching your videos for a very long time! My favorites are your GX videos! But I had an idea for a new deck for you to try out! Spidops ex, with the new gravity stone and Ariados!
Tabletop content would be very cool! I enjoy other creators who do that like Tricky Gym and Dead Draw Gaming - they have a good visuals and play open handed mostly, which is super helpful for learning. But also retro table top would be interesting too! JustinBasil does that and it's cool, but I don't know what all the cards do and it's not gone over so it doesn't hold my attention. Anyway, as someone who will probably never become competitive in the TCG, playing other formats seems the most fun!

Hi, I'm still new to pkm tcg. Can anyone explain to me how does galvantula EX gets double the damage and how to achieve it? Is it because of the stadium card or the ace card?
galvantula was getting double damage because the opponents pokemon was weak to electric types. You can see a pokemons weaknesses at the bottom of a card, next to the resistances!
I had an idea of Iron valliant in the new format meybe with latias ex or ltios ex . Just an idea to help the cuminity fugier out the new meta and I’m quiet the fan of Iron valiant and sorry for my english
@@LittleDarkFury Because you went first, you don't see why in the video, but usually you wanna go second with galvantula so you can either use jolting charge or tm evo, then they can snipe two joltics on the bench + your active on their second turn.

10/10 most clutch Boss of all time, love those moments and your reaction to them 😂
That chancey ability is a scam, im convinced, i played blissey for an entire week and played five games a day and never flipped heads once lol
This is how I feel with astral misfortune. I hit heads 4 times last year against a daruladon deck and I never lived up to that game smh.
I just hit it and man it’s the best feeling in the game.

Sounds like glimmora ex may be an off meta control deck in the future to counter area zero while also capitalizing it for yourself

but I think that's how it should be, the day itemlock becomes a top 5 deck we're all screwed (as seen before with seismitoad)
Item lock turn 2 isnt too bad with the nee ace spec

Venomoth is faster just low hp but it's easier to item lock turn2

Hey question is there a way to build iron thorns ex and galvantula ex together in the same deck
How does someone even think of a deck like this? Like the amount of stuff you need to get to pull off attacks are crazy. Big brains

@LittleDarkFury do you think dachsbun ex is possible to make into a deck?

My guess is Hyper Aroma is probably better against Dragapult so you don’t have your joltiks lying around on the bench. Not sure though
It really is a case of consistency or getting the lock up. In my build I went for Hyper Aroma because of the Pult match up.
I like Crispin figured out how to use him since I started testing, very nice supporter but not an amazing one

I would play hyper aroma because you need a lot of stage 1 pokemon in order for the deck to work and not always u can ultra ball them
You need the Crystal thingy for much easier attacks.
Crystal helps get off your first attack, but after that it’s no better than Powerglass
Hyper aroma is ok but the crystal ace spec is way too good for galvantula imo
LDF, I have a lot of D/P/P era cards! Hit me up if you need anything.
