I think that video was mostly done as a by product, they already had all the people and outfits for a huge collab, but Feuerschwanz wanted to silence the people sayin' the German medieval bands were takin' themselves too serious, so they covered a pretty well know German rapper (and his band) and put in Melissa's part which really gave the Song some kick
I am so fucking thrilled you are watching feuerschwanz! They are AMAZING :D German band and quite talented! So many good songs to check out guys, for exampel: Die hörner hoch blöde frage, saufgelage im bauch des wals das elfte gebot moralisch höchst verwerflich sex is muss etc etc So good energy, so good vibes :D
Feuerschwanz has more fun with their music than any band I have ever seen. That gets me past the limitation of not knowing what they are singing about since I don't know any German. (I gather they mostly sing about mead). It should be noted that the costumes for the band were not made for this video, they always dress as the same medieval characters. They even have storybook accounts of the characers, which again I can't follow because they are in German. The violinist usually gets a bigger role, and she also has a medieval character associated with her. And two of the other women play cats for reasons I can only guess at.
Parts of the band also had another project. dArtagnan is a brilliant cash grab. They hid the trend of german folk pretty perfectly and are heared by grandmas all over the country. And its perfect, the music is fine.
The Violinist is a parody on an early german poet. Which changes the translation from "beards meadow" "fuck meadow". Their lyrics are heavy on puns, phraseing and context. Not realy entry level.
Nanowar of Steel is the only serious contender in the fun department. They have some songs in English, but most are in Italian. Or german. Or spanish...
@@merileopardisaksassa7030 Nanowar of Steel depends more on cleverness, so when they are not in English it all goes over my head. Feuerschwanz has the kind of fun that comes across even when I have no idea what they are singing about.
Hi, the instrument played at the end, is an so called "Maultrommel" or jaw harp, tromp, trump (no pun intended), its an really old instrument, you take it inside your mouth, and flip with your finger the elastic tongue which begin to swing. This creates a tone which resonates inside your mouth cavity. Throuh changing of your breathing and your mouthshape you can control and change this tone. Great reaction as always. 👍 On a sidenote, @Uwe are you a fan of Svbway to Sally, or Eric Fish with his solo tours? And could it be, that you where a couple of years ago on concerts in Hannover, Germany "Musikzentrum"? I know its a wild guess, but there's no harm in asking. Your taste in music is really good.
haha I laughed so hard when I watched this cover video for the first time because I also know the original version from the German reggae band Seeed. I think it's great, although it's definitely more fun if you understand German and also know the original. ^^
I really recommend to react to some stuff by "In Extremo" like "Ai vis lo lop" "Heimali Tempore" "Stetit Puella" or anything else, but only some LIVE versions,
If you like to react to more German musik this are my favourite German songs. Eisbrecher zwischen uns Betontod Traum von Freiheit (Official Live Clip) Feine Sahne Fischfilet Alles auf Rausch Böse Onkelz Auf gute Freunde (Live in Berlin 2016). Thanks if you React to them.
Sorry to say, but the original by Seeed is leaps and bounds above this cover. Edit: I was a bit early with that assessment. This version does pick up towards the end. I still prefer the original, but well done on the cover after all. Edit2: This is really growing on me. The Feuerschwanz dude unfortunately can’t compete with Peter Fox, but Melissa is really rocking the show. Never heard of her before but I was instantly turned into her biggest fan.
The original Seeed is much better..... but not metal song. But it’s funny 😁 more about the Böhse Onkelz please.... 👍✌️ and watch the original Seeed songs please .....😁
Everytime Mellissa Bonny kicks in i get goosebumps everywhere
And she is criminally hot.

Ehe retten durch Kotzen find ich Scheiße. Aber Scheiße find ich auch Scheiße. Von daher alles richtig gemacht. Grins!!!

Sex is Muss video would probably break some people.
@@PurpleDracos haha yeah it is a brilliant video, they are so adorable :D
I used to go to Seeed concerts when I lived Germany, I love them so, and this is a great cover of the OG song
LOL that cover is epic! XD
Not really a rap fan, but I liked the original a lot (especially the official music video).
It's not rap, it's dancehall/reggae
They also did a great cover of "I See Fire" from Ed Sheeran. 🤘
For me it's even better than the original.
They killed it freaking amazing cover

I know it is 3 years later but in english it is called a "Jew's harp".
04:15 min Melissa Bonny is a Queen of Metal Rock 🖤🤟
I'm so late to thanks you for your reaction to one of my favorite metal bands featuring one of my favorite female metal vocalists.
Melissa has the voice of an angel,

Uns so kommt unser Peter Fox auch noch in die U.S.A. ;D
This reminds me of when Dani joined you guys. Both excellent!
I want a playlist just with the suggestions from Uwe. All the videos I really liked were suggested by him!
5:14 "What is that?"
It's an instrument called "Maultrommel" (orr Jew's Harp / Jar Harp in English). Originated from Asia, cool instrument :)
im pretty sure it s a jaw harp not a jew harp lol
@@Cec1nator Both titles are correct ;)

It's a "Jaw Harp/Maultrommel" he played at the end of the Video...
More of a tribute, a hommage to SEED, than just a cover. If you knew Seeed, youd notice
Great German band. My brother spent 20 years there. Try We Butter The Bread With Butter. Another great German band.
