Maybe consider doing some tuning videos with the Hoyt HBX Xact cams. The most time consuming thing I deal with is the cam lean. In my humble opinion, Hoyt's tuning method is antiquated compared to some of the competitors. I realize cam alignment doesn't have to be perfect, however, they need to be close in order to get an acceptable paper tune.
With the nock issue this is why I shoot Easton. That’s crazy that GT has that type of difference with turning the arrow 180… my rx8 65 pds with a axis 300, 75 grain brass insert, 100 grain tip and lumanok are shaft tuned excellent at 11/16” from riser to arrow center. Arrow has blazers as well. One of the best bows I’ve shot hands down.
Love this bow . Got to shoot a bunch of flagship bows including both Lyfts the alpha x -being a Mathews guy since 93’ and shot mostly all the different brands out here throughout the years and owned a few brands like elite-p.s.e. Evolution…..hands down for me 🤷♂️goes to the Hoyt rx8🥇🏆🤙✅🔥
Looks great. Should be trouble free for a long long time. I’ve never done the peep tie-in your way starting with wraps around the peep but I’m going to do it that way from now on. lol, I’ve been into compound bows for over 30 years and still learning. I do all my own bow and arrow builds. 👍👍👀👀👀
Pretty dang close To the way I do things. I shoot everyone if my arrows through paper like that bare shaft and have had next to no issues with broadheads down range. I haven’t had near the drastic difference with my victory arrows tho. I’ve been able to do them 180 like That With next to no difference at all. I do mark my nocks and shafts tho once I get the bullets so I always shoot them that way everytime
they have been mostly al right down the center depending on final cam resting place that ends up being 13/16 +/-1/16th , or right around 3/4 +/- 1/16th , the 3/4 tends to look a little more pleasing to the eye
Glad I found this answer, on my alpha x 30 I’m having to run my center shot slightly less than 3/4 around 23/32. But it shoots well right there so I’ve been rolling with it. I like your channel, I’ve recently gotten into doing my own bow work the last year after my go to shop closed, it’s nice to have somewhere to go to for good info!

I’m glad I got to see your work, seen you poking around on Rokslide a bit.

You need one of those fuzzy mics that clip on your shirt. Awesome channel 🙌🏼
I have one but the audio was trash I will look into a better option !
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed
Nice! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Where do you typically like to run the arrow through the Berger hole? Center, high, bottom arrow center?
You didn’t mention that.
Thanks

What string dampeners are you using?
@clockworkjj none they are kinda pointless . The speed nocks do a more then fine job.
@@BergyBowsmith Thanks!
What’s your measurement for the center shot on the rest for Hoyt’s? Great channel by the way, thanks for doing these!

@@donovanbillings1865 thank you for the kind words !
Mine tuned at 11/16 light from riser to center. Don’t use paper just raw shaft walk back tune to 30 yards.
