If she ever has a mental breakdown he is going to have to take care of her, and Andy thinks this is unfair to him. For Andy, if she marries him it would feel like she is doing something selfish because she feels Bao is paying a horrible lifelong price to be obligated to take care of her.
So how come I never see her thanking her besties for being there for her and supporting her? I understand....it's her fear about ending up with mental illness like her mom & brother....but you can't stop living just because you are scared...and she has a guy that clearly loves her and will do anything for her...
