Golden Nexx!
Thanks a ton for watchin!!!
golden nexx pretty cool
They are super cool!!
One thing that I noticed: the diff covers can now be removed without completely stripping the axles. That's a nice feature for those of us that swap between locked and open diffs. you'll just need to pull the axle shafts somehow.
For sure!!
@Rocco I’m confused? Either way you have to pull out the middle 4 screws, ether from the actual diff covers of the aftermarket or the back 1/2 of the housing on stock. I think the benefit is that you can do maintenance like oil/grease /cleaning much easier with the aftermarket cover.
@Rocco Yup. You're right!
It is designed that way to easily lube the ring & pinion gear & nothing more.
Thank you sir for sharing. I really like the FCX24 and want to upgrade it. Didn’t even realize this company existed.
Yep, it’s an awesome platform.
Injora and other brand even generic ones are cheaper also good quality. Just need to check reviews and actual photos if available and or possible. You’ll save more than half modt of the time.
Yeah I did the same thing my white max smasher is on my FCX 24 power wagon chassis, I just got there red front C hub’s
Nice!!!
I ordered all that stuff in gold also. It should be here any day. So your video was very helpfull.
Nice! You’re going to love it.
I unfortunately had issues with these when I built my Smasher. The steering kept binding when I tighten down the screws that hold the steering knuckles to the c-hubs. And yes, I did use the bushings.
Hmm. Odd. I wonder if the bushings were too short?
Stock bushings from an FCX24. They actually extend past the c-hub. I think the issue is that the holes on the c-hub are not aligned. When I install one of the kingpin screws, the hole on the other side does not align with the screw hole in the knuckle. I can force to install the screw on the other side, but even with just the first couple of turns, it already binds. And this is with NEXX Racing axle, c-hub and knuckle.
@@Jojo_RC are your c-Hubs on the wrong sides (or knuckles?)
@@TheShopMiniRC I don't believe so. When looking at the axle facing the diff covers, c-hub on right has 'A' and left 'B', knuckles with steering links in front.
Golden next. Good vid. I have been curious about the aftermarket metal axles
These ones are very high quality!
Yeah hub carriers they only had them in red at the time
I hope they make more colors.
The gold on the blacked out truck looks good, it would have been too much gold on the gold digger imo plus they're different colors of gold.
Yeah. The more I think about it the more you’re right!
Golden next
Ty
I think I have a problem, I'm watching this video on my tablet and I'm watching the beat the creek from 9 days ago on my phone,
🤔
Hahhaha I see no problem here. ;)
Huge thanks for your viewership!
Love it! How interchangeable are those fms axels to scx??
You have to use m2 hardware but people do it all the time. Look up my FMS Injora monster truck build. Basically scx24 with FCX24 axles.
@@TheShopMiniRC will do!!
I love it. I see what my next project is . LOL what do you think about a touch of white grease in the portal gears?
Thanks a ton for watching. I think grease in the portals is good. ;)
Who are the "we" you always refer too? So far I have only seen you on this channel.
We, me, you, the community, everyone watching, my wife, my kids. They all make it possible. We is inclusive. You are coming along on this journey with me so… it’s we.
@@TheShopMiniRC Aah the royal We :-) I get it. Well I'm happy to be invited on the journey.
