The second this song came out I knew I had to cover it... specifically with an English voicebank! And since I'm on such a SynthV kick, Eleanor Forte felt like the perfect option! The vocals are super autotuned though so this tuning is kinda overwritten by that lol

I noticed that in this cover, Eleanor Forte is using the ow phoneme for her o's instead of ao. The ow phoneme causes her to say her o's closer to ou than oh. Ow is supposed to be like in row while ao is supposed to be like in boat.
I know that SynthV Studio Basic doesn't have phoneme lists like in Gen 1 (Idk if Pro has the phoneme lists), but Eleanor Forte uses Arpabet, which has a Wikipedia page on how the phonemes are listed. I just thought I'd mention this just in case if you use Eleanor for Japanese in the future.
The original song has Gumi singing in an accented Japanese with her ENG vb so I think he's replicating that style
@Gekiyaku's Pill Cabinet Yeah, it’s no problem. I mainly know this from experience using Eleanor in the Gen 1 program and a really badly pronounced Japanese cover I made with Eleanor several months back
I'll have to try using ao in the future. To get rid of the noticeable w at the end of ow I have been adding an l and shortening it's length to like 25% to give it a rounder sound.

I've got a short question, though.
I noticed your synthv interface looks way different from mine. You have formed waveforms instead of lines in the note area.
Is that a full version thing?
That might be an option you can turn on and off! To the right of the "Piano Roll" part of the interface, there's a few groups of buttons... the group to the farthest right has the option to turn those waveforms on and off! I'm not sure if this is different in the basic version of the editor, though...
@@CheezItsAreYummy I actually just now figured out that I was using editor instead of studio.
The waveforms are there in the basic. Very tempted now after trying it out to get the bigger version at a later time.
I'm having a lot of fun with this stuff.
