With these numbers, Baker would've been the runaway mvp last year. I dont think Baker has gotten enough credit for this years performance.

@@chrisstewart5664 Last year was so ass with QB play that the INT's wouldn't have mattered (Manning won MVP in 2009 with only 33TD's and 16INT's). The main issue is the win/loss record, QB's don't win MVP's unless they've got one of the best win/loss records in the league.

@@chrisstewart5664 Totally with 15 interceptions qb play was generally underwhelming last season. Lamar got MVP because it was a weak year for qbs. 29 total touchdowns is incredibly underwhelming. Meanwhile, Allen was over here sitting with over 20 turnovers. And then there's Purdy, who played very well, but got shat on by the Ravens. 39 touchdowns (42 in total) to just 15 interception is an amazing season, especially compared to the three MVP runners last season. That amount of scoring outweighs the turnovers by a ton.

@@OffensiveFarmer The standard for QBs has rised exponentially since the 2000s. Manning doesnt win that MVP in any year in the 2010s. High turnovers dont cut it anymore. Times change

Baker left halfway through the 4th, probably would have put up 400 yards and a 6th TD. I have to say, a lot has been made of Carolina's injuries on Defense, well cry me a river! That's been the Bucs plight all season long.

I hope Baker Mayfield has this great momentum that stays consistent throughout the season, not just fluctuating like the waves in Tampa Bay.

They lost almost every game on defense though? His “worst” games he still carried them to a win, that’s like blaming Burrow for being 4-8. Both played the Ravens and put up similar numbers, and defenses got obliterated

@@kja6336 It's not just about the defence team. The opponent's score can show the defence's performance, how well the defence team can resist or stop the opponent.
I have often seen him throw the ball where it's at risk of being intercepted, while other players run to where it can be caught. This indicates that Baker has a risk-taking and challenging nature, which can sometimes easily lead to wrong decisions. Anyway, I understand that he has only 1-2 seconds to look around the field before throwing the ball. Hopefully, he's not like Jameis Winston; TD 30 vs INT 30 in a season.

@@Pooky_Jan brudda what, he’s had like 8 ints that are actually his fault and most of them are miscommunications with rookie receivers getting their first ever reps. The others are deflected. Points off turnovers is also very low for the Buccs, the only TO they’ve had that truly lost them the game was the White fumble vs Dallas, or the Bucky fumble vs the Falcons. Baker threw 3 ints vs the saints and killed them in the 2nd half, which was also the only game a team got multiple scores off TOs vs the Buccs. The offense is one of the best in the league, best 3rd down conversion in the league and one of the highest scoring and despite the ints and fumbles they still aren’t terrible in TO ratio. Because 15 ints and like 6 fumbles isn’t bad when you score 40+ pass TDs and like 20 rush TDs or however many they have 😂

First play hole in cover2 is the middle of the field or between the cloud corner and the safety, so i mean we did what we supposed to do and have to do it again next week so we can make this playoff run GO BUCS

When Cohen was hired, it was explained to us that his offense gives the QB a lot of flexibility to adjust the play or I guess call the play at scrimmage or something like that. It hasn't been obvious to me if or when that happens. Could you do an analysis of the season to illustrate how Cohen's offense works in this respect? Thanks. Love your content.
