Giraffe or Ostrich? I choose Ostrich, big feathery birds that can't fly but can run pretty fast. Help inspired one of the best fantasy game birds known as Chocobos. Also ostrich eggs are pretty big and can be eaten, ostrich egg omelette anyone?
Giraffe. I mean at some point you have to realize that, "Huh, I should extend my neck to get the food," is just a cool motivation for an animal...🌌

Heya, it’s been a while. Just found out I can speak again. :D (Even if it’s unfortunately a day too late, full moon just passed)
And what a lovely audio I’ve returned to! Goth Mindful’s heartfelt proposal definitely made for a memorable night with Listener. (I guess that means the audio is memorable too XD)
In all seriousness though, writing a poem was such a sweet display even if it didn’t work out. In fact it was probably for the best since Mindful was able to express her raw emotions in the moment without worrying about following a script. :)

Let’s go with a short story in leu of our regularly scheduled programming:

A long time ago, and actually still today, there was a whale. Like others of his kind, the social creatures whales are, he wished to belong, to be near someone.
And so, like the fellow whales he’d regularly hear in the ocean depths, the whale would sing. Call out and hope for an answer.
However, he would never hear an answer. You see, this whale sang much higher than the others, and they in turn sang much lower. No matter where he moved, the others could not understand what he was saying, and likewise he couldn’t fully understand their songs either. They just didn’t make sense to him or seemed like mere noise.
And so it went on, for years and years. But the whale was never deterred. To this day he still sings, and some think someone’s started to reply.

If you’re getting Deja vu from this or just general curiosity if you’ve never heard of something similar: This was based off the real whale 52 blue, also known as the 52 hertz whale. Was reminded of it a while ago and it really is a fascinating story both emotionally and scientifically if you’re curious.
Don’t worry though, even if there’s no riddle for tonight I’ll still leave you with a recommendation for your time if you actually read all of that. Should be interesting enough with, well, you’ll see.

@@mindfulmessasmr Glad you enjoyed the song, it’s definitely a bit ethereal, or at least I think that’s the word.
As for the story, improvising on the spot was a little more challenging than I expected so I’m a bit relieved it worked out. (Although I just caught a typo so maybe not 100% XD)
Major props to you for being able to do that constantly by the way.
Anyway, I’ll be catching up on what I missed. Seems like a very interesting few audios.
