Hi Diana, the Hake brushes can be used with watercolor or traditional gouache paint. A lot of ceramic artists also use these brushes to apply ceramic glazes and slips.

@@cg8397 I have used them once with very watered down acrylic. No harm so far. But I’ll keep in mind to always thing the paint. Thank you for your response. Another question. I don’t see instructions for opening the tip of the cover on the Lucas bottle. It doesn’t appear that once I do cut it the little cap provided won’t fit securely for traveling with these bottles. Suggestions?

@@dianaseely4852 Natural hair brushes usually get ruined by acrylic paint
