this gun is awesome .The frame is glass reinforced polymer just like the real steel .Great barrel lockup, and you can swap the mag release to the other side if you're a lefty.Rear sight plate removed so you can mount a red dot but Sig has not released adaptor plates yet. This gun is well worth the money.
This airgun is amazing, wouldnt trade it for any other pellet shooter pistol. We need spare clips and a cheap version (real ones are worth more then this gun xD) of the romeo sights for this model (and potentially all your future models?xD). And you guys need to build in a slide catch into your , already freakin awesome, pellet belt design. I really wouldnt mind aligning the belt during loading or sacrificing 1 out of 20 chambers to gain a slide lockback. Im available for consultation if your engineers cant figure it out! hehe
Can't wait to get one of these, closest thing we can get to real handguns in the UK unless you get one of the live firing abominations with a coathanger on the back and a stupidly long barrel.
Wait is the self contained magazine for air guns something that sig has patented? That might explain why Winchester discontinued there very sought after MP4 replica air rifle that uses a self contained mag
Hi everyone. I am intended to buy one M17 but I wonder if you know there is an adjustment button or something like that to set the barrel for the correct shots to hit the bulls eye. You know umarex beretta m92a1 has an adjustment button just underneath the barrel. So as a user of this pistol I thought maybe you could say something about that.
They are releasing an airsoft version though. I want it for force on force training, I could care less about gaming airsoft. I have the previous version of the p320 pellet gun and It has some issues, I started just using bbs in it since I kept having jams with pellets
She doesn't really seem like the range type of person. When she presented the firearm, as in pointing it, it wasn't really a grip that someone who is experienced at shooting would have...But a range video and a field stripping video would be really cool.
Grip handle seems rather large. What does belt fed mean. It looks like it's is the same principle as the Tippman SMG60 full-auto paintball gun. Does the "chain style belt" remain inside the magazine or does it get ejected? Should have explained that in more detail.
The extension of the magazine does seem a little off due to the large size magazine. I guess they need it like that since it sits right up between the gas port and the barrel. I would worry that it would be easy to damage it if you are trying to do quick change drills. The chain remains inside the magazine and cycles around in a circle. This is a much nicer mechanism than the dual-ended 8 shot rotary magazine in the P250 pellet gun.
I’m not super happy with it, I just got it, and it has no slide lock, nor does the slide cycle very far, as you can see in the video. If they were to change those things, Mabye make it more true to like, like airsoft for example, i would buy.
What value would the slide lock bring to an air pistol? You don't need it as an indicator that your mag is empty like on a real pistol, but that would be cool to have if they can engineer it into that rotary magazine. You do have a take down lever for removing the slide, but the slide is so light, you don't need to lock back the slide to flip the take down lever.
No need, it has a safe and a guard lock. then a full semi auto fire mode. 16 rounds of mayhem is good enough if you have a fresh cartridge and precision point tip pellets. I took out 4 squirrels in one day on one cartridge. Spend some time practicing and feel the gun. You will like it brotha!
I think that will depend more on the accuracy versus the kinetic energy of the pellet. Not sure how deep the rifling is and whether it can impart a decent spin on the pellet. I've also heard that pointed tip pellets may jam up in the chain magazine and wad cutters aren't exactly a good pellet for hunting.
I wouldn't use any Co2 pistol for shooting live quarry unless it's something like a 2240, these blowback replicas simply don't have the power, or accuracy.
Yeah, like the others said. With most blowback airguns you will end up just emptying your mag and hoping it scares it away or you get lucky and wing it.. Unless of course you're a psycho who lures the squirrels in close with peanuts..
@@RWMAirgunsmithing Thanks to all for confirming my suspicions re: CO2 rifles. OK for target shooting, that's about it. I need something with accuracy and real punch well above 800 fps for nuisance squirrels, chipmunks without freaking out the neighbors.
I got one and it survived only three co2 balloons - loading nozzle snapped in half. According to comments on one big online retailer store - it's a generic issue. I'm in Europe and because of covid restrictions can't send it for repair. Registered product on official site and tried reaching customer support - haven't received any response. My verdict - don't buy it.
Wondering what law enforcement has to say about the bright orange barrel tip, required on all non-lethal firearms, but strangely absent on the one shown in the video
Under federal law, imitation firearms are required to have blaze orange barrel tips. But the statute specifically exempts "traditional BB or pellet-firing air guns" from the requirement.
@@rawtoon2000 Airsoft guns file plastic pellets and are considered toys. Air (pellet/BB) guns fire metallic pellets or balls that rank higher than toys, but lower than actual firearms. They are classified differently under federal law.

I am a fan of Sig Sauer products...Firearms and Airguns...their warranty are the best and a very helpful customer service! 5 Stars!
The thing that ruins it for me is that it only comes in *coyote-tan.*
*Black* would be a solid buy.
Ordered one today
and how is it working ?

I’d like to see a Sig 716 G2 DMR for airsoft.
when Sig Sauer is going to manufacture the pistol sauer sa model P320 M17 to practice airsoft, caliber 6mm. bbs.? Thank you
Should I go with the Emperor scorpion or this M17? Decision decision 🤔 please help me lol

Hi, an carabine conversion kit exist for this m17 4.5? Or the carabine conversion kit for airsoft are compatible?
How about making P229 air pistol?
Jun Espiritu have you checked their website? I know they make a 226 one. I've seen it in a store in person.
The coast guard just ordered em
The 226 is just as good and less than $100
Spider Factory true. But blackfriday salse has it at 100 bucks now!! Woo ho
In the video you state a Romeo sight can be added? All the UK reviewers are saying that no optics can be added to the slide. Who is correct?
Just ordered one, I'll be back with my opinion. Can't wait! 👍
How's experience

When is it available in Taiwan?
Hey Sig Sauer, any idea when the airsoft M17 will be available to buy in the UK? I'm dying to get my hands on one
How many FPS (feet per second)?
430 fps
Without looking at the specs, I'd assume between 350-400 FPS for a CO2 gun with a rifled barrel. One website mentions 430 FPS max velocity.

Hiya. Nice! Is the mag release reversible, and is the mag release the same item as on boomstick? Thanks! Also, do normal mags fit for practice?

According to federal law (back in 2014 anyway), pellet and BB guns are exempt from the barrel tip marking requirement.
John Dough it's a pellet gun! Pellet and BB guns that fire lead pellets or steel BB's DO NOT have orange tips. Only airsoft and toys come with that.
What makes you consider this to be non-lethal?
