For me personally I would say: 1. Vulnicura 2. Post 3. Vespertine 4. Biophilia 5. Debut 6. Medúlla 7. Drawing Restraint 9 8. Homogenic 9. Selmasongs 10. Utopia 11. Fossora 12. Gling-Gló 13. Volta 14. Mount Wittenberg Orca 15. Björk I love them all so much ☺️
My favourite is Debut because it just says 'Here I am' not over the top but just enogh to make her look shy and vulnerable. So when you put the album on, its sort of like I wasnt expecting her to be this lively.
My ranking: 15. Fossora (Not a fan of this one. I don't like the blue wig, Björk is wearing and the CGI "plants" around her make the overall picture look very cheesy.) 14. Utopia (As if the Homogenic and DR9 covers weren't scary enough already. This cover is just too much and I don't like it.) 13. Mount Wittenberg Orca (Just a landscape photography. Nothing more to say here.) 12. Kling-Glo (Very simple and cartoony. It's fine.) 11. Selmasongs (I like the manipulation of the photo on the cover. Other than that, nothing too special about it.) 10. Drawing Restraint 9 (Probably one of the scariest looking album art works out there and I kinda like it because of that.) 9. Biophilia (This was actually the very first album cover and picture of Björk I've ever seen. Back then, I thought her look on the cover is the one she is known for the most and that she actually had hair like that lol. Therefore, it's very nostalgic for me to look at and that's why I like it.) 8. Björk (For an album by a kid, it looks pretty good. Usually, album covers by child singers look cheesy and that is not the case here.) 7. Vulnicura (It is simple, but I still like Björks look on the cover a lot. I wish she would do more album covers like that, which are not so exaggerated looking like her last two.) 6. Medulla (Not much to say here, other than it is just a great looking photo for the cover.) 5. Volta (I'm still not too sure, what Björk was exactly going for with this cover, but it still looks very cool regardless. Also, red is my favorite color, so I'm a littles biased here.) 4. Homogenic (When I first saw this cover, I didn't know if I should love it or hate it. There is something so uncanny about it. However, I decided that I love it. It is so iconic and fits the sound of the album perfectly.) 3. Debut (I tend to like Björks album covers more which are simpler and this is a great example of that. Sometimes less is more.) 2. Vespertine (Another great example of what I said previously. Just a beautiful black and white photo of Björk and a stunning drawing of a swan over it. Nothing more. Perfect cover for a perfect album!) 1. Post (I just love everything about this cover. Björk looks great on it and the vibrant colors around her make for a simply gorgeous looking album cover. Easily one of the best in music history!) Okay, I really got ahead of myself with the length of this comment. I hope, some people still bothered to read it. lol
I love Volta’s album art so much, it’s just so aesthetically pleasing to me. It evokes the primal part of my brain if that makes any sense. The shapes and colors are satisfying to look at lol
@@bjorkrules9563The cover is a photo taken at Mount Wittenberg, where Amber Coffman of the Dirty Projecters had the whale sighting that inspired the songs. I totally get why it’s not your favourite, but also keep in mind that the album was originally a digital only release where the money generated from the sales would go to charity. They likely didn’t want a big spend on the cover artwork
The Fossora cover had so much potential to be incredible but it ended up looking so digital, which is odd because in the bus image of the photoshoot pretty much the entire cover was built as a physical set so why did it end up looking fake. It's still great as a smaller image on streaming but doesn't look great on vinyl covers imo. Vulnicura is definitely top 3 for me, it's so unique and I feel it's one of her covers that most represents the album. The yellow hue for healing, the slick black latex album like she stepped out of the black lake, her ugly chest wound,, her dreary makeup and hair, the huge cumbersome wedding ring. Even the spiky alien headpiece feel like Arca's sharp glitchy electronic beats.
@@bjorkrules9563 lol sorry I was having a bad day. and while fossora is electronic, homogenic is literally the gold standard for 90s electronica. it’s pretty commonly agreed upon as being electronic, and that becomes obvious when you listen to its glitchy beats, blend of synths, and house/gabber influenced sounds on some tracks. “alternative” could be anything. alt pop, alt rock, alt electronic. I think homogenic is classified as such because of its more organic instrumentation. but I think it’s still electronic. nice list
@@mapledemon5601 don't worry, as for all of that, I agree, Homogenic was a banger for an electronic album on the 90's, still, Fossora is more electronic than Homogenic, just saying that, and thanks for calling this a nice list

Yep, Volta is like Björk’s most colorful album, I love it more just for that
I think the MWO cover is pretty fitting. It's a very simple, humble, folk-type album, so just a photo is all that was necessary.
Yep but like is so boring tbh

Whoever ranked fossora so low get out its amazing
compared to others its not, and I wonʼt get out cuz its my channel 😑
@@bjorkrules9563 I still love it the most XD
@@bjorkrules9563 The victimhood music video is beautiful
STOP LYING, FOSSORA IS NOT HER FIRST ELECTRONIC ALBUM, HOMOGENIC WAS ELECTRONIC
Uhh, first of all why did u have to be so rude, second, Homogenic is alternative, and Fossora is electronic, at least in Apple Music
