Great lecture! LOGOS is the "how-to" principle of universal order, the soul's process of growth, human discourse, and cosmic process! The Logos with its multiple meanings, "πολυσημία" in Greek! Thanks a lot, professor!
One of the most underrated philosophers. Heraclitus is very interesting, his theory of Logos is quite intriguing. Thank you professor for the presentation.
Thanks Greg, there's a lot of "Logos buzzwording" abounding in the zeitgeist atm, and I think it's crucial to challenge these Logoi peddlers to define their terms. Appreciate your work here as always. YOU, Sir, are the best philosophy prof. alive that I am aware of.

Would you say that your fuller explanation of "The Logos" is closer to what John is referring to in John 1:1 rather than just "The Word?" What has come down to us in the KJV seems to me to be an inadequate translation. Would that be a correct assessment? Thanks.

@@GregoryBSadler Thanks. I can see why the Logos (with a capital "L") was such a useful concept for the author of the 4th gospel (although I'm pretty sure he was talking about something more profound than the mechanical laws of physics). Thanks for this video. It really helped me :)
