It’s such a luxury innit! Though one step up in that lux… My Mk7 golf had adaptive cruise and I didn’t half miss it when I moved over to my T5.1! (I drive with hand controls on account of being paralysed and in stop start traffic it can get very tiring on the wrist, holding the throttle/brake handle so the ACC was a real treat!) very cool job through Nathan, and to think 10k ago that beauty was a carpet fitters spares or repairs wagon! You’re a genius mate!
Cracking job there Nathan and thank you for the video. Blimey that job turned into a bit of mare with having to dismantle so much on the left corner. Reminded me a bit of changing a headlamp bulb on a Megane. Fair play to in persevering and getting it done. Definitely a big bonus having cruise control with so many average speed checks nowadays on the motorways.
Ah ye! Smashing the videos mate, that looked a bit of a job, amazing what you can do with bit of time and patience! Looking forward to the London lights video too ah ye!
Had it on the mk5. Once you’ve set your speed you should be able to increase or decrease after 20mph just by pressing the + to go up in 1mph increments or - to go down 👍
DTE cruising now bruv🤟😂😂 when you upgrade to MFSW it has no impact on CC. All done on the stalk. CC is a godsend on our motorways and like AC. A absolute must. Once you've had AC and CC aint no going back. I have facelift model, can get to lower engine bay relays without taking headlight/Bumper out. Good stuff Nath.
Done the same retrofit.. also had a face lifted front end! That wire into the fuse box is a bit of a pain in the arse 😂 Also the wire that needs de-pinning, looking back would’ve been MUCH easier just to splice into the wire but hey ho.

What loom did you use for your steering wheel airbag Nathan? I have the same wheel but the loom doesn’t work on my pre facelift t5.
I want this on my van but I need to get the sides painted first it’s taking forever to get it painted
On the caddy’s without a temperature gauge how easy isit to fit the clocks with a temp gauge if it’s possible ?
Alright for you Nathan you haven't got sausage fingers
How hard is it to get on my caddy? Is it as simple as literally putting a stalk on with cruise control
What year is your badboy T5 Nathan? I'm going to look at getting one next I think mate.
Why is it the wire you need to get to it the furthest down with no slack!
I give it a good few hours to do that job as alot of stripping down!
