- In this video we show how to remove the internal door card panel on a Suzuki Jimny. We needed to remove the door panel to investigate a rattle we have coming from the door - in the end this turned out to be the door lock metal bar knocking against the metal door panel.

Simon..I am not surprised at the clever detailing of those trim fixings, my Shogun was full of clever ideas like that. Japanese engineering at its best! 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Hi Richard - yes the Jimny is built to a price but its well made.
Thanks for this video. Mine has develped this rattle and now I know where to look and how to fix it.
You're welcome!

amazing explanation. Thank you
Good evening & welcome Lilly.
Look out for stickers coming for Suzy Suzuki & Stiggy👍
Good video👍👍👍
Instead of taking the door realise handle off you can usually feed it through the door card and leave it connected to the rod.
I did wonder if that was possible !
Lovely job 👍👍👍👍
Thanks again!
My name is George and watching this to fix my Jimny. I love that it's personalised to me 😂😂
Especially for you !
Good video as always Simon , but where has the word " door card " come from ? I worked for car manufacturers all my working life and this was always a interior door trim panel , I assume this is an American expression .
Well if you do a google image search for door card it seems to show "interior door panels" but i am not sure where I got the term from. Julian here at work agrees with you... he had not heard the term in his 20 years in the UK motoring industry !
Dang rattles!
Yes once you hear them they get under your skin !
