Al anderhalf jaar geen liquidaties: is het écht rustig of lijkt dat zo?

- Van Willem Endstra tot Sam Klepper en van Saïd el Yazidi tot Gwenette Martha: Amsterdam heeft een beruchte geschiedenis wat betreft liquidaties. Vetes in de onderwereld leidden in het verleden geregeld tot moordaanslagen op figuren in de Amsterdamse onderwereld, maar sinds de moord op een 56-jarige crimineel in Amstelveen eind 2021 is het op dat gebied rustig. Of lijkt dat maar zo?
"Dat is in de basis natuurlijk een prettige constatering, maar dat zegt niet zoveel over de onderliggende problemen die er nog steeds zijn en waar wij ons als politie zorgen over maken. Denk daarbij aan de hele drugseconomie en het geweld wat daarin omgaat, daarbij komt vaak ook nog de rol van onze jeugdige Amsterdammer", vertelt politiewoordvoerder Nabil Ou-Aissa.
Dat - ondanks het uitblijven van afrekeningen in de onderwereld- criminelen hun gang blijven gaan, wordt bevestigt door Paul Vugts, misdaadjournalist van het Parool. Volgens hem spelen er wel degelijk conflicten, maar monden die op dit moment niet uit in liquidaties.
Jasper van der Kemp, criminoloog verbonden aan de Vrije Universiteit, stelt dat het voor criminele organisaties überhaupt 'onhandig' is om liquidaties te plegen: "Het is voor criminele groeperingen in zekere zin onhandig om liquidaties te plegen omdat je dan zeker weet dat er heel veel politie aandacht is. Als er een liquidatie wordt gepleegd weet je zeker dat een groot moordonderzoek gestart wordt waarbij veel mensen worden doorgelicht of in de gaten worden gehouden."
Drie mogelijke oorzaken
De daling van het aantal liquidaties is ook wetenschappelijk onderzocht. In een 'verkennende studie' van het Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek- en Documentatiecentrum (WODC) staan mogelijk oorzaken beschreven. "In de eerste plaats kan het grote aantal aanhoudingen van kopstukken ertoe hebben geleid dat minder moordopdrachten zijn gegeven in de afgelopen jaren.
Daarnaast heeft justitie de mogelijkheid om ‘live’ mee te kijken met ontsleutelde pgp-berichten ervoor gezorgd dat de opsporing verschillende liquidaties heeft kunnen voorkomen door vroegtijdig in te grijpen. Tenslotte bestaat de indruk dat spelers van criminele drugsnetwerken het even ‘wat rustiger aan’ zijn gaan doen, als gevolg van de vele aanhoudingen, politie-acties, inbeslagnames en opsporingszaken", beschrijft onderzoeker Barbra van Gestel in het rapport.
Moord Endstra kantelpunt
Nu er al langere tijd geen liquidaties in Amsterdam zijn gepleegd, geeft het de mogelijk om terug te blikken. Vugts beschrijft de verschillende golven liquidaties aan de hand van specifieke moorden. Te beginnen bij de liquidatie van vastgoedmagnaat Willem Endstra in mei 2004.
"Dat was een behoorlijk kantelpunt in de Hollandse netwerken van de Amsterdamse onderwereld. Willem Endstra was vastgoedhandelaar, maar ook bevriend met allerlei criminelen. Zo ging hij veel met Willem Holleeder om", vertelt Vugts.
"Zijn reputatie was dat hij tientallen miljoenen had aangepakt om te beleggen in vastgoed, maar als de criminelen voor hun geld kwamen keerde hij niet uit. En dat zorgde natuurlijk voor enorme spanning. Hij zelf heeft in gesprekken met recherche uitvoerig vertelt dat hij werd afgeperst en hoe dat ging. Hij voorspelde ook dat hij zou worden doodgeschoten, dit gebeurde uiteindelijk toen hij vanuit zijn kantoor naar zijn auto liep", vervolgt hij.
En daar blijft het niet bij, meerdere figuren worden geliquideerd: denk aan Cor van Hout (2003), Willem Endstra (2004), Kees Houtman (2005), John Mieremet (2005) en Thomas van der Bijl (2006). Justitie ziet in Willem Holleeder de opdrachtgever, hij wordt uiteindelijk in hoger beroep veroordeeld tot een levenslange gevangenisstraf.
200 kilo cocaïne
Terwijl Holleeder in het verdachtenbankje zit, werkt een nieuwe generatie criminelen zich op. Een heftig conflict ontstaat in 2012, met het verdwijnen van 200 kilo cocaïne in de haven van Antwerpen. De dubbele liquidatie in de Staatsliedenbuurt is een eerste reactie en staat - blijkt later - symbool voor een nieuwe generatie criminelen, beter bekend als de Mocro Maffia.
"Het blijkt het uur u geweest waarop je vol zicht kreeg op een nieuwe generatie criminelen", zegt Wouter Laumans, misdaadjournalist en mede-auteur van het boek Mocro Maffia, tijdens een terugblik in een interview met AT5. In de strijd die volgt worden verschillende liquidaties gepleegd. Gwenette Martha is een van de kopstukken in deze groep, maar ook hij moet het ontgelden. Op 22 mei 2014 wordt hij in Amstelveen om het leven gebracht. Meer op AT5.nl.

Wanneer dit soort dingen worden gepost lijkt het net of er naar gezocht wordt. Als je echt wil dat het stopt moet je dit soort content ook niet delen. maja das mijn mening he, who cares anyway.🙂 bovendien zitten de echte criminelen aan de top met hun geheime leventje. 😅

@@King-se6lx nee, dat klopt. maar het is een begin, begin om er voor te kunnen zorgen dat het in ieder geval minder gaat voor komen. Door deze dingen in elkaar te prutsen hou je ten eerste de jeugd niet van dat leventje af. ik vindt het gewoon smerig hoe men wordt gemanipuleerd. eindstand klagen wanneer deze conflicten zich daadwerkelijk afspelen.
De echte boeven hebben de media in handen.
Wat een onzin.. alsof er nu ergens een grote pief in het wereldje denkt “ah shit we moeten weer eens iets van ons laten horen”.. Laat ik het zelfs zo zeggen het is goed dat er even gekeken word waarom het nu minder is, om te voorkomen dat het grote publiek in slaap sukkelt.. Gezien de vele dieptepunten in het afgelopen decennium is dat iets wat we echt moeten voorkomen

My soul went to stand on the waters with them while my body was lying on the sand of the sea. When He had finished speaking to me, my soul came into me and I became alive again but I no longer saw Them.
4 Then a crowd of people came toward me from the right side and I asked them if they had seen the Angel and the Lamb. They said, "No!" 5 The following day at around 3 p.m. while I was sitting with my family, I was transported again in vision into a totally desert country and I saw eastward Words that were coming down from Heaven carried on Clouds. It was after these two visions that I got up and went to church for the very first time. [Kc.137v37]
6 In a third vision, we were sitting in an examination room for the Advanced level test and the examiner was distributing the test-papers. I said to myself, "But what am I doing here? I do not have a good school level and what am I going to write?” And later, It was said to me: "The same way that Mary conceived miraculously, without knowing any man, the same way that Moses received in details what happened at the creation, you too, you have received the Words of eternal Life on this April 24, 1993 and it is decreed by God. At the appointed time, you will understand and you will teach what you did not learn in order that whoever believes has eternal Life". [Kc.9v34] [Kc.30v1-3]
