Diamond gobys need a sand bed. It lolls like you have a cruched coral substrate. The goby might have jumped into the overflow check the sump and the overflow box
It is 95% a sand bed. And I did check the sump and overflow didn't find him.

My diamond chases my blenny. Loss is a loss. It's nature. Suck to lose money. Hippo tangs are worthless. I stick with utilitarian fish
I also have a blenny and they get along
