Hi guys, because TH-cam is not the biggest fan of tobacco my add revenue is suboptimal.
I would greatly appreciate it if you would support me by support my contect through buymeacoffee.com/myownshrink
"Single" - Every whisky used to blend this bottle was produced at a singular distillery
"Malt" - The mash bill used to create the whisky was comprised entirely of malted barley (as opposed to unmalted barley, rye, wheat, and/or corn)
"Pot" - Used primarily in Irish whiskey, this refers to when the whiskies in the blend have been distilled in a pot still, and are comprised of both malted AND unmalted barley in their mash bills.
My best guess on the label where the no driving is, is no operating machine’s (jackhammer, forklifts, anything basically lol)
Hmmm guess so.
Monkey Shoulder is my personal favorite
Have it for 5 years now, havent tried it yet. Got it as a suggestion after googling: best “good” whiskey to start with😅
Single malt means it was made from 1 type of malted barley vs multiple different types of malts. Similarly, single pot means distilled and bottled from a single still, rather than blended. Not sure either of those are necessarily indicative of the quality, but still interesting tidbits. I think most whiskey is probably blended because that assures a consistent product
Quality probably no, higher price yes :) to be honest I dont have nearly enough experience to say which is better.
Price doesn't matter, if its good whiskey then it's good whiskey
Absolutely true! I learned that with cigars
