Just found your channel, linking from @vdubpollygrey t25. I'm keen to see your progress, as you are a step ahead of me. You are saving me a lot of puzzling time with missing flange. Just completed my first welds laying on my back on the battery box. Fabricating is harder than it looks. When the ground dries, I'm welding in the arch drivers side next.
Nice videos love how your getting stuck in, I've got 2 big holes to sort between rear lights and arches for it to pass mot, I was thinking of paying someone to sort it but watching these vids makes me think I should have a go myself.
Thank you. I'm using a draper gasless mig. Not sure which model without checking. Using flux cored wire. The wire is a lot more expensive than the wire for gas welding but at least it saves dealing with gas. This welder is on the large end of hobby welders but the small ones are pretty decent now too.
@@TheTinski07 that's great thanks. I've got a gasless mig and was wondering if I could use it. So many people tell me they are crap. Good to see it can be done. I'm gonna tackle the front steps. Should be fun.
excellent!

@@room3663 I've always use gasless. Just spend a bit of time getting the wire feed nice and smooth and it will do the trick no problem.
