i read one of these books at Barnes & Nobles a long ago and in 1941 i think it was for the Red Wings was a played named Joseph Fisher but we have different middle names i think his starts with a F mine doesn't start with a F them kind of books are nice . In early 80s as a kid i i would try and watch the Flyers on TV but for some reason i couldn't watch on TV more then 10 minutes at a time with out turning it off . i would try and watch like 5 to 10 games a year from like 80 to 86 . this is how i fell in love with hockey in the middle of the 86 -87 season a friend took me to a Flyers game for the first time kicking and screaming and i fell in love withe sport . i started to play street hockey right before the Summer of 85 i remember me and my friends turned the radio before we started to play in Nov and music channel saying they had sad news but the Flyers player Pelle Lindbergh has passed away i knew who he was but like i said i couldnt never watch the game on tv at that time . after going to the game i was still playing street hockey but then i started to watch the games and not just Philly come playoff times on the different other channels when the Flyers wasn't playing i would watch the other games too and late 80's to mid 90's some great games not just for the Flyers . the funniest goal i ever saw i think it was Red Wings vs Hawks in OT i think it was a Hawks player he was dumping the puck in for a line change and hit a Wings player and it bounced weird and in to the goal the Hawks player didn't see how the goal was scored but one of his teammates told him he scored and you can hear the Hawks player tell him You Lie i didnt score then he watched the replay it was a d man sorry for rambling on
