Oh hey, it’s super nice seeing someone else who likes andis clippers, I’ve always preferred Andis. I used to swear by their blades too but was recently given a Butter Cut blade. I now can’t go back to an Andis blade haha. Have you tried the Butter Cut blades? If so, I’d love to know what you think. Thanks
Very cool to see some of the behind the scene tool care that is needed for blades! I just groom my own dogs but I enjoyed seeing what is done when a blade is sent off to be sharpened!
Wow, What an eye opener. This is entirely different than what I thought blade sharpening would be. I thought the little teeth were sharpened. Another informative video. Thanks Rudy and Anthony.
You are such a punkin! Wow what a great video! I’m hoping you’ll help me out. I’m wanting to sharpen my own blades because I go thru them quickly with my 5 dogs. I’d like to ask you how I should go about it; should I buy the nice, expensive plate sharpener that you have or would you suggest an alternate way? Between mine and my sisters dogs I groom I’m looking at sharpening maybe 2-3 blades a month.
@@hyde33 lol. Thank you so much..there is a less expensive machine than the one I'm using in the video, that you might to look into it's the ..model #cs10 Nebraska blades sharpening machine..it's a very good machine,it has a smaller plate, but great for a groomer, who wants to do it themselves.. hope this helps..
@@GroomingByRudy thanks for your kind words as well! I've been subbed and quietly enjoying your videos for some time now...lots of wonderful and useful content. Keep up the great work!!
What type of grade grit do you use? I'm looking to sharpen regular hair clippers for people, clippers for dogs, and clippers for horses. Would they all require a different type level of grit?
@@GroomingByRudy thank you for that information. I just know that human hair compared to horsehair is so much different. I will go with the 240 grit. Thank you

Do you sharpen your own scissors? There are no good blade sharpeners here anymore. I'm thinking of starting it up. My scissors were ruined after a new person took over my original person. Sadly, I'm just buying new blades now.
Wow!! Very interesting to watch the process of sharpening a blade!!
I second that!

How do I get it?
