I spent 8 years volunteering at a big cat sanctuary and there was an amazing lioness who decided from the moment we opened her shipping crate at the airport that I was her person. She rode home to the rescue on my lap. If she wasn't laying directly on top of me, than she was at least laying across my legs (smushing them). Even while sleeping, one paw would be touching me. After work I would go into her enclosure and take naps using her as a body pillow. It's amazing when an animal chooses YOU to be their world.
It's a good thing that RooBoo has Mike and Carol for pawrents because they are truly loving. (I'd melt in a minute when he tried to get me to let him sleep on my lap.)

Allow & indulge him your tired body & first level bed sores... someone at some point said, Get a Bulldog, & now you have him. In all of his glory he'll need your verbal Brahms lullabies for life. Here’s an undeniable truth...it’s not the things we do in life that we regret, it’s the things we don’t do. Love and spoil our fur babies every chance we get. Not practical but so worth it. Reuben...just in case you forgot for a minute, your people love you to bits!

Reu, the thoracic cage of a human can support only so much weight. Also, absence makes a 🐕 grow fonder
