Personally when putting everything back together I would use hand tools instead of an impact gun. Yeah they’re easier and faster but I’d hate to accidentally cross thread them. So hand tight them, then use a torque wrench to torque them to proper specs.
You may want to install the Accord rear sway bar end links. They are made of aluminum instead of the cheap plastic units that are on your civic. Honda part no. 52320-TLB-A00. They work like a charm!
Nice, I really like that look, I wanted to do this to my 2020 Hatchback, now all I have to do is try to convince mom to hook me up with the spring since she works there hopefully she can, cause last time she no cause my car was already low.
My new civic ex has a slight lean from the rear. Leaning a goos half inch to the three quarters of an inch lower on the left side... Most people dont see it. But my job requires a good eye for level, this is going to drive me insane and the dealer says its within factory tolerance. Any ideas for a good half inch lift just on the rear left spring.
Hi, how are you ? Your video is very interesting but I have a question, once you installed the new springs why didn't you change the bottles? In the long term it won't damage the bottles because you only changed the springs? or I'm wrong ? I want to know why I would love to do that same job on my car. I would appreciate it if you could help me with your recommendation.
It isn't a very aggressive drop, I was curious about whether or not it actually needed a camber kit as Eibach recommends...I was skeptical. They just want you to spend more money 😅 If a camber kit was needed I'm sure the garage would've told you so.
Am trying to find the right springs for my current setup but don’t want to rub or roll fenders and wondering if these springs or H&R will fit. Currently running 18x9.5 35 offset, 235/40/18. Think these springs will work? Also how is the ride quality? Smooth or harsh?
Nice vid man! When are you changing out your rear bumper reflector to LEDs brake, signal, and running light? I’m doing mine soon as weather warms up, damn cold winter lol!
Hey chris, One thing I suggest for you that i did to my civic is to make the H logo and the logos on the back, black instead of chrome. Really looks sick man!
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm looking into purchasing emblams soon. Just trying to see where I could get high quality ones so they won't fade over time. If you know a site let me know! 😁
@@chris_timefk8 I actually took them off and painted them myself. Ive had them on for over a year and they havnt faded at all and went through one harsh winter and one hot summer, I can give more details on the paint and how tomorrow!
17:33 I think you mean 108 Newton-Meters, which is converted to 80 foot/lbs (which is referenced in page 653 in the user manual). Otherwise, 108 ft/lbs (or 146 Nm) would be way too high. I'd also try to find the torque specs for bolts that you had to remove (I believe the torque specs are very similar to the Type R, but you might want to check with your local Honda Service shop just to be sure). While impact tools make the job quick, there could be some adverse affects if the bolts are under- or over-torqued. Aside from that, it looks pretty dope! I'm considering in lowering my Civic as well, but I haven't decided if I want to go with a simple spring replacement or full suspension replacement.
Hey bro, I love watching ur videos, why did you pick these springs? I think I’m gonna purchase it based on your recommendation, was it price and are there stiffer springs in the eibach category, great videos as always 💪
Nice. You will not regret your purchase! You would have to contact the dealer. Mine says that it does. But that's why I always keep the stock parts just in case😀
Cool videos man! I have a 17 hatch sports touring but I torque my wheels (18") to 80lb-ft so I wonder why there's a big discrepancy between mine and yours
i have 2019 sport touring champion white in color same as your car, i do mod's also ...and i subscribed!..salamat kabayan asikasuhin ko naulit ang hatchback ko mga links mo it will help me more...good job boss
Winner present in the comments, thank you Chris. Keep up the hard work and great videos your making 👌🏻
Congrats man. Hope you enjoy!
Very nice, I lowered mine also about 1". I also put on 20mm spacers so they're flush. Looks so good. Rock on, thanks for the vid.

This 100000%
Or just hand screw them on so the it's threaded properly and then just use a torque attachment on your impact gun.
How low is this 1.5 or 2 inch?
Do you know the torque specs?

I'll check them out. Thanks!
Oh man that looks way better lowered. Now I just have to find a shop that can do this for me. Did you need a camber kit with these btw?
Nice was planning to get the same springs. Seems like the right choice, not too high but not too low.
Looks good man. Quick question what happens if I don't cut the yellow rubber inside?
what happens
Love the wing just scared of the wobbles at higher speeds. Looks great lowered.
what wabbles its an fk7 lol
@@Goooouse the wing wobbling
Pretty please link the spoiler 🙏🏾🙏🏾
You can just type type r spoiler.
How much lower is that kit front and back? Only want to go an inch or so and upgrade wheels to 19s.
About an inch on each side I believe. The springs are perfect honestly. Not too low and not too high!
Any noises turning or driving just bought d2 spring like to know ?
I'll be posting a separate video with a review once the springs settle and have a good feel for them.
But other than that, no noises.
After replacing the short slingshot, does the CV Axles have any oil leakage?
Nice, I really like that look, I wanted to do this to my 2020 Hatchback, now all I have to do is try to convince mom to hook me up with the spring since she works there hopefully she can, cause last time she no cause my car was already low.
Are you also cutting the yellow sponge bump stop
On the rears too?
no

Hey Chris question, is there an updated link for this eibach website?
Man music is sick bro, energetic and hype, respect still 👌
Thanks man ✌
Stance looks great! Now, wheels or spacers.
How's the difference in drive comfort compared to stock?
I'll post a separate video after I spend some time with the new springs 😁
@@chris_timefk8 did you ever do an update on the ride quality and final drop after the eibach spring install?
Hey Christ, question.. Does those lower springs will fit my 2021 Honda Civic sport sedan?
Hi, how are you ? Your video is very interesting but I have a question, once you installed the new springs why didn't you change the bottles? what wing brand is that?? looking for one for my sons 2020 touring hatch
Can you please provide us with a link to the springs you got?? The link in the description doesn’t work
nice video congratulations eibach recommend changing the camber why don't you change it?
Hello
I got the car aligned a week after installation. Never had a problem with my suspension. 10k miles on the springs.
It isn't a very aggressive drop, I was curious about whether or not it actually needed a camber kit as Eibach recommends...I was skeptical. They just want you to spend more money 😅

@@chris_timefk8 any updates on your pro kit springs? How’s the ride quality compared to stock? And any issues so far?

Not sure yet tbh. But lemme know how yours turns out!

Where did you bought? The springs
Bro the link to the eibach doesn't work, what's the lowering inches you bought ?
17:33 I think you mean 108 Newton-Meters, which is converted to 80 foot/lbs (which is referenced in page 653 in the user manual). Otherwise, 108 ft/lbs (or 146 Nm) would be way too high. I torque mine to 80ft pounds and it's a 2021 sport.
Oof. Yeah good catch! That's my bad.
Hows the ride? Alot tighter on cornering?
Is that a 1 inch front drop and a .8?
Yes.
Looks alot better lowered, try the mugen tail lights for the civic
I just got my mine yesterday same color and same year, what’s the best exhaust that you recommend?
The Borla one sounds nasty
You didn't install the rear camber kit?
Your car looks so good, just like my FK7. Keep up the great work!
Is this spring fits with Honda Civic sports sedan??
What’s the link to the lower springs? The Eibach link in the description didn’t work. Please lmk I’m really tryna lower my car soon. Thanks!
Do you really need a camber kit?
No
Is type r different or same say?😊
Doesn’t this void your warranty?
do you need an alignment after this?
Yup. I waited a week for my springs to settle, then I got an alignment done.
Hey Chris would love to see a speaker upgrade on the civic I wanna do it to my civic but I wanna watch a walkthrough so I don’t mess up 😃🙌
Chris please
Video is currently in the making. 😀
I did one on my upgraded all speakers including the tweeters with kicker kept the stock head unit and threw a sub in as well
How much was the wing ? Looks dope and whats the name of the wing ?
Hey bro, I love watching ur videos, why did you pick these springs? I think I’m gonna purchase it based on your recommendation, was it price and are there stiffer springs in the eibach category, great videos as always 💪
i just got the prokits installed 2 weeks ago
Nice, i got the prokit on my ex-l, much better stance even on 17s. Now you need a rsb
No torque specs?
Does this void any warranty
sportline? prokit? numer eibach ?
Aftermarket springs will kill your shocks , I think coil overs would be a better solution
clean asfff man love ur vids
Thank you! 😃
Hi chis How does the suspension feel, the same or harder?
Looks nice. Are they the pro or sport line springs?
Pro kit
Look a lot better bro nice clean car I’m actually looking into this same set up
The link is not working, can you post it again bro
I’m buying the exact same car as u, this weekend!! Does this void warranty?
Nice. You will not regret your purchase! You would have to contact the dealer. Mine says that it does. But that's why I always keep the stock parts just in case😀
Bruh you dont do star pattern when taking off the wheels. Only when you are putting it back!
Nice, I might get mine lowered
Nice vid, would like to know how the car felt/handled, if it was any different at all, after all this.
I'll post a separate video after I spend some time with the new springs 😁
@@chris_timefk8 where?
I wanna do this but i have warranty under mine 💀
You can still do it even under warranty
look Great 🔥🔥 Love your videos Cris 👏🏽👏🏽 Whats next ?
Thanks man. Stay tuned! ✌
Great video, i will try this to my hatchback 2021
Looking Chris. Panalo!
Hell yeah bro!
Let’s go EAGLES!!
Can you make it 2 inches higher by doing the same thing. im older and dont want it so low.
Cool videos man! I have a 17 hatch sports touring but I torque my wheels (18") to 80lb-ft so I wonder why there's a big discrepancy between mine and yours
I think he was using Nm (newton metres) thats why its a 108. Thats equivalent to 80 ft lbs
Awesome video
Thanks!
20:00 oh nooo not JOs😩💔 👟
Car looking really good
i have 2019 sport touring champion white in color same as your car, i do mod's also ...and i subscribed!..salamat kabayan asikasuhin ko naulit ang hatchback ko mga links mo it will help me more...good job boss
Nice
THATS NOT WHAT SHE SAID
Lol nice wings
Looks STOCK. Not worth the money. Just my opinion
I don't get it. How does lowering the wheel make it looks good. The wheel well now look uneven. Ugly asf.
Lowering wheel? Gtfo here troll.
