Heartfelt tribute!! Massive respect to Eks for this!! RIP Stevie Hyper D, DJ GE Real, DJ Tango, Marcus Intalex, Tenor Fly, MC Ruff, DJ Kemistry, MC Trouble, Bill Riley, DJ Chillem, DJ Trend, DJ Baby Face Ragga, MC Kendo, MC Gaffa, TC Izlam, MC Yush, Stormin MC, DJ Dominator, MC Skibadee...all raving up there in the sky. Never forgotten and loved dearly by the Jungle DNB community.
Let's not forget mc sparks too r kid... r.i.paradise to all fallen soldiers!!

Mr Eksman. I write this with a world of respect offered to you. I've been listening to this amazing music since 1997.
Skiba was the leader of this scene. Nobody will replace him.
However, we need someone to lead this scene. To unify. May I be bold and say to you, YOU are that leader. I'm not asking you to be him. As I'm sure when Stevie died, people then saw Skiba as that leader and didn't ask him to be Stevie.
Thank you for everything you have done so far for us. And this, I say with my truest intentions, that us, the ravers, will always be in your corner, good sir 👊🏻

Mate 1997 through to 2002 was pure fire 🔥 so many good times. Watching skibba, det and Shabba was just next levels. Also hyper d was next level I’m gutted than I only seen him once before he passed. I wish I went to telepathy but just missed them days.

Man I remember my first rave at Bagley’s underage at 16 and being wowed by Skibs live and every time since
this has literally broke me, i was introduced to skibba and dnb in the late 90s, and it was a cult back then. i been with it from then to present. even met him and shotta in brighton at a kebab shop. the most sound people you could ever meet. i didn't fully realize what the loss to dnb and the scene was until seeing this video. what a honor for eks and what a ledge for staying underground and humble;. skibs was my teen years in bars, and i will forever love them years , thank you skibbs

All seriousness though - same story. I'm out here in Perth and the man would bless our tiny (back then) DnB scene with his stage presence. This was just around the time of his massive (pun intended) tour with shyfx and nicky (nicky nicky nicky) fearless etc. Turned a small crowd into a jungle of fun. I been spittin rhymes for a minute but just practicing some of that old 89.5 (is a ruff ruff ride) was my teens and twenties.
