Omg. Just hearing the details of this story is giving me anxiety - I can scarcely imagine the profound terrifying/ bewildering pressure of the moment for Rob and Rich. Ugh, and then the waiting...
I definitely understand what he went through. When I was just about to start 4th grade my half face suddenly stopped moving and was paralyzed and I was having slurred speech and my mom immediately thought I was having a stroke and that night we went to the hospital. I found out that I had lymes disease and bell's palsy and if I had waited even longer I would have had a stroke and would have possibly died.
Having experienced my mother having a stroke I can tell you how important quick action is. Hers was mild- just like Rob’s- and because she got help quickly she is now back to work less than 4 months later. You have to take it very seriously! I can also imagine how Rich felt- the tears and fear come easily when it’s someone you care for so much. Rob is very lucky to have such caring and intuitive friends.
I can't believe that some people actually said that Ty Olsson was responsible for Rob's stroke because he was horsing around with him. Give me a break... THAT WAS NOT THE CASE.
Just did some research and the drug they were talking about has a time window of 4 hours, after that, they can't(very dangerous) to administer it. So they were lucky they caught it fast, most stroke cases weren't that lucky
I love these two so much, I love every bit of our SPN cast of course, but we always talk about how close J2 are.. and like for sure, those two are platonic soulmates, no doubt. But yall, these two, Rich helped Rob live in what surely was one of the worst moments of his life, that's such an intense bond. (this is not to minimize Jensen being there for Jared during his depression, of course, but this moment between Rob and Rich is just not talked about enough)
