Most people are searching for validation from social media, hence the addiction, and the achievement badges on some social media. The conqueror needs distractions to overcome us. I left FB over a decade ago, because I felt it was a waste of time. Social media is the matrix in a sense, distracting us from the real issues.
Sad to admit but I lost my cellphone when traveling from AZ to MA. It did feel awful since the world requires a cellphone or computer to get so many things done. My boarding pass was digital, unfortunately many people I know I no longer remembered their telephone numbers 😢
@@proud_grandma12-6 my phone was taken from my truck just this past Wednesday, took help from sister and nephew to put me on their plan with new phone so I totally relate and understand, happy Sabbath sister!!!
@@proud_grandma12-6 that’s a legitimate hardship and disruption for sure. I pray for, as my five year old daughter taught me, “good challenges,” but if that happened to me I would struggle. Only by Gods grace.
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: *But* made himself of no reputation, *and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men* And being found in *fashion as a man* he humbled himself, and became *obedient unto death* even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; {Philippians 2:5-10} Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; *but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin* {Hebrews 4:14-15} *What is man* that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For *thou hast made him a little lower than the angels* and hast crowned him with glory and honour. {Psalm 8:4-5} But we see Jesus, *who was made a little lower than the angels* for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. {Hebrews 2:7}
