    I think it is so funny how the cows love the camera and want to be the stars ⭐️ . Laughing so hard at the first cow in jumping and doing a little dance.😂❤️🐄 You have some happy cows😂❤. Thanks for the update on the cheese building can’t wait.

    Exciting to know the cheese plant is starting. A diary here in nearby Ohio had a devastating fire last night. They milk 1100 head. Farmers from several states have come to take the cows to care for them until the damage is repaired.Gotta love getting mired down in slimy mud. You did a great job of freeing the feed wagon.The parts on top of the trusses look like the overhanging eaves on the gable ends. Thanks for another great video.

    I am hoping once she gets everything in place Mirjam is able to sell direct to consumer. I used to smoke a lot of store bought cheese and then vacuum seal it and age it another two years. At one time I was eating five year smoked cheese. Smoked Gouda was one of my favourites. So if she can I will be in line to purchase one of her first wheels!

    I have a 'city slicker' question! The two huge 'tubes' that run along the cow's belly in front of the bag, are they arteries? Man they are big and kind of out where they could get damaged quite easily. Now that I've shown the world my ignorance of animal anatomy I'll close!

    Those pieces on the rafters are the ladders for the gabble ends your overhang.
    Spread flax straw or some of that hemp straw in the wet spots. Spread them work in with sand then add more straw works great.

    • @ljtlove4519
      @ljtlove4519 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That might work after he smooths it down with the front end loader.

    • @Saskrancher

      Definitely needs to be smoothed out but I would add flax straw in the ruts first and fill with sand.

    I'm surprised you're going with the expense of burying a line. I have no idea how many gallons of milk you'll use a day/week, but I figured a small operation you could just tank it over there (something like your calf feeder).

    • @sandralovegrove2805
      @sandralovegrove2805 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You didn’t notice… they don’t do anything SMALL

    • @JHruby
      @JHruby หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you use a tank and pumps, it's a massive added manual cleaning and sanitizing chore every time you use the tank. A line can be added to the automated cleaning and sanitizing loop. Vastly less labor and risk of contamination.

    I think you really need to do something about the excessive water situation on the farm. This can harm farming in more than one way (stuck equipment, damaged crop, ice formation = slippery = dangerous, problems reaching the bins, health issues in the corrals, etc.) and can turn very expensive on a bad day. I've seen it happening on our own farm. Better safe than sorry I'd say (beter voorkomen dan genezen).
