Thanks for the report Justin. I was thinking about heading to the metro park on Thursday. 10000000000% agree with picking up your trash anywhere you go!! I’m always leaving areas I visit with more than I left with. It’s not that hard to respect the outdoors!!
Thank you for the report and all the updates. My pops was out at metro today and he told me he saw a guy out there with a snowmobile. I made my way up m29 over the past weekend cabana blue and the raft was packed.
My top complaint is the slobs followed closely by the guys that have to set up right on top of you. I always pick up trash on my way in and out. It's my little token of appreciation to Mother Nature😊
I have the same gripe as you, whatever you bring in, take out with you. There's already enough things polluting our waters, us outdoorsmen should be the last people to trash something we love.
Without in front of selfish this weekend almost all the barracks anywhere from 3:00 to a couple spots I hit was about an inch and a half 2 in couple spots was four be very careful to go out there there is two pockets open water in front of the canals towards the barracks in the corner
Pick up garbage floating on the lake all Summer, this year’s top goods, a pink bass pro hat, a bag of 4” inch pimpdaddy plastics. Many balloons. Tons of shell casings on the beach at Metro in the fall.
Spear holes , mostly around FairHaven area. One video I saw spearing pike. They shove the blocks UNDER The ice. I commented about marking their hole . He responded saying they pull the blocks back into the open hole ( I believe that when I see it) and put SNOW AROUND THE OPENING. Bad If A Kid Falls In, HOW ABOUT US SENIOR CITIZENS .
When I was a kid growing up in Anchor Bay, seems like every other winter there was some clown with his truck on a block of floating ice and a rescue copter coming to rescue him. A few of them made national news. Haven't seen that recently.
It's a shame it's always been this way with people leaving their trash..... it actually seems to be getting worse every season. The trash is ALWAYS lighter that when you carried it out, so why is it so freaking hard to pick up and carry off to a trash can. I fished Fair Haven Sunday, and the ice was great 4-6 inches of hard ice.....
Sorry, but my sled will definitely be out there this weekend but ive been doing this my whole life, and am not stupid or trying or die. I just have toi much gear to haul out on my own. Sprained an ankle the last time i tried that lol.
@@gummo3873 try taking less gear wit ya all ya need is a spud bucket and one rod to catch fish no need to hall 200 pounds of shat you wont use out with you
Thanks for the report Justin! When i go out fishing i always bring our a plastic shopping bag and pick up whatever i see on the ice!
We always pick up after people all summer long too ,we always try to even take fishing string
Amen on picking up trash. Keep reminding people. Thanks 🙏🏼
We gotta do our part to keep it clean.
This is very local to me, love the footage, great report. Thanks !
Thanks for the report and what u do. Much appreciated
Thank you for the report! A special thank you for bringing to attention that throwing trash on the ice is not how a sportsman should be acting.
Hey you said what needed to be said. . Kudos to you for stressing it . Everyone do the right thing and keep it clean .🎣

I love your reports very educational. I'm very up-to-date. I live in the area. I respect you a 100%. You make some of the other reports look stupid

Ice fishing etiquette !
Was that R2D2 from Star Wars trying to communicate with you at the 20 second mark LOL 😆
Yup got a text message 🤣
Thank you for calling out the litter bugs in this world it's the worst thing that they could be doing taking their trash out and leaving it on the ice

Biggest pet peeve is people leaving trash as you said, and people setting up right on top of you

Maybe we need to keep an eye on other fisherman like we do our tip ups. Just to make sure they take their trash off the ice.
been machines on the salt river . generally the high traffic areas get the most litter . heavily populated area heavily advertised area. fish on

That's some interesting stuff people have lost.

My grand daughter even picks up trash from people fishing, empty worm boxes, bottles cans, hooks, you name it we pick it up,trash belongs in the trash
It's always the damn rookies that leave there 💩 out on the ice, real fisherman don't do that shit 😒
Thanks for all the videos. Asides from Fairhaven, which area has the best access/parking for bringing kids?

We all need to hold each other accountable. If you see something wrong, speak up.
Hey bro I hate that stuff too so don't leave your trash on the ice we are too old for that crap
Dirt bags leave trash! Just because your mom is also your aunt doesn't mean you gotta act like it, pick your trash up.
I don't need a fish that bad.
Garbage and cigarette butts
People who leave there smoked cigs on the ice
