Very nice rendition of this melancholic Miranda Lambert song I'm still trying to nail down for Open Mike & I do believe the day of my elderly 86 year old mom's passing. I will play this @ the service... It's amazing how we as humans often find similar moments in our lives. @ 13-16 I lived on an island of the coast of Rhode Island & the house I lived in featured my upstairs bedroom where I did my homework & learned to play guitar. My dog back then a St Bernard we buried her in the back yard underneath the shade of the old weeping willow tree... It was 50 years ago but this song still fully resonates to the memories.. That reminded me so much of our home that I lived in from the age of 11 until I married at the age of 22. My bedroom was in the attic and it was there I taught myself guitar on my eldest sister’s old nylon strung instrument. This song brought so many forgotten memories back into my head. Thank you.
