Hey jay when you finish the deck you should plan it so people can set up sleeping hammocks they have some really high teck hammocks these days. I would love to sleep in a hammock on the deck it would be such a nice experience everyone has slept in a bed but you cant say that about a hammock. Let me know what you thought about my idea if you havent thought about that yet hahah. enjoy your life and that new baby hey you need weeks break you will never get time back with your kid fishing can be done over and over but raising a kid is on hands and it only happens untill their old and find their own lives. i have a 20yr boy 25yr old daughter now i am 41 and i would love to re live their childhood again watching them catch their own fish all of it bud.
Musky are kinda like guard dogs. They love living under docks where there's shade and food. Bet since they are totally in tune with their bay they enjoy the entertainment being around us. Oh and the old ones are certainly conditioned to grab tired dazed fish we 'release'. Easy pickins.
You should start a camp log book for guests to sign and also record their fish catches or hunting results. 20 or 30 years from now, it will be fun to read that book
On my home lake we have musky that I’m the mouth of the river wits so all we do is toss out a live bait and boom u on it’s like tarpon fishing out for musky it’s so fun fish of 10,000 casts lol I catch em in 1
@ Jay Siemens I hate to burst your bubble but you are going to spend more money yet, You planted grass now you are going to need to mow it. Gas or electric is what you are going to have to decide.
Don't promote wearing the kill lanyard incorrectly. There's plenty of videos of that slipping off ppls wrists when going overboard and not killing the engine. Always use the clip to clip securely to clothing or something that will pull the cord and not slip off. Look it up. A loop on the wrist won't always work. It has to be attached better than that. Unless u can pull it from in the lake...This is just advice not angry critisism.
