I'm amazed with this video and how simple and clean the editing is. There's something about it that makes me feel happy having watched it. Not only is it super asmr but I feel like it's just refreshing to see how you live life through this perspective rather than through fancy edits and music (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Plus, I'm sure the time spent editing is at least a little shorter :) This video truly inspired me.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. in general, I've also been trying to be more comfortable with singing/music making because it's something I love to do. I think a lot of the times we let our egos get in the way for fear that we're not good enough, but I'm slowly trying to change that. In other news, very jealous of your chemex *^*
I have noticed some people in the physics field being very uppity and thinking their the top most intelligent people in the world, I'm a more biology focused person and they tend to look down on biologists a lot, I can imagine their view of creative fields are even worse.. im interested to here your views on these types of people :)
yeah honestly it's pretty shit. someone i talked to in physics literally asked me why i was "wasting" my time studying physics if i was just gonna do design when i graduated like ???? sorry not sorry i'm not going to grad school you asshole.
i have been keeping up with your vlogs for some time now and i love them so much! as a full time barista i feel so proud and happy that you have upgraded to a chemex & better beans too! i hate hand grinders, it does not matter which one it is, it is always a hassle and takes sooooo long! so i bought an electric grinder - i have a wilfa svart at home and it was the best purchase ever & it is very affordable, considering i have a scale that is more expensive then the grinder! :D i hope you enjoy your brews cause i find it very relaxing whenever i have time to make one during my days outside the coffee shop. later, you can also try different recipes and different beans too. it makes drinking coffee a bit more interesting and also makes you think about all the flavours you can taste in the final cup! :D
You should make a video about the toxic parts of your physics undergraduate experience ! I feel like a lot of people (especially women in stem or male-dominated fields ) would relate !!!

If you want to add another labor of love step in the Chemex brew, I finally got a reusable, cloth filter from Coffee Sock and I love it and I never have to buy expensive chemex filters again. I’ve only been using it for a month, but so far the taste is great and cleaning it is fine.

Omg how do you clean your chemex? Mine is always cloudy ! I also always put the filter in wrong. I also get lazy and don’t warm it up by adding hot water. You have reminded this 30 Something year old how younger people do love the art of coffee ❤️

yes! a chemex is percolation whereas french press is immersion. i highly recommend watching james hoffman's video on the chemex on TH-cam!
