Met Jo Koy at my store a few years back. The nicest guy. I couldn’t remember his name at the time but I remembered his Comedy Central specials and jokes. He took the time to talk to me, then went out to his car, brought me back those same specials on DVD and some random merch for free. Will always be a fan. Glad he’s still going.

Crazy to think he rented out a movie theater in Vegas to do his own shows when he first started out and his first Netflix special wasn't a special to begin with - Netflix didn't want to do it but he filmed it anyway on his own dime with the hopes that they would pick it up. He went all in (literally every dime he had) and Netflix ended picking it up. And 4 specials later here we are. It's such an amazing story!
His new special is hysterical. It’s a smaller venue which felt more intimate. He’s a funny guy!

Howies talent is the equivalent to a little yokie, and Koys talent level is the equivalent to a Timberwolve. I'm going through the darkest hour in my life right now, and Jo Koy makes me die of laughter, and not want to die. Jo Koy is a freaken legend. Kevin Hart is probably the hottest stand up comedian active right now. Even then. The only Speical that got me me laughing was "Laugh At My Pain" the rest of his specials wasn't funny at all. Koys specials: everyone was as great as Laugh At My Pain
