Please keep in mind this is “NOT” the full interview. However Tom Lehrer is in this video, but he’s just laughing and smiling at Kenneth Williams’ jokes. I’m still searching and keeping my hopes that the full episode will resurface someday.
The essence of Parkinson's success is here plain to see. He asks a quick question and lets the guest flow. The likes of Kenneth Williams and Barry Humphries are excellent examples of how Parkie was a success.
Kenneth was gods give to a chat show host no chat show host could have had a better guest .He was full of funny stories and quick repartee. And MP let him .flow. He was unique a complete, one off we shall not see his like again.its sad that a man who give so many people so much laughter and joy with his performance s on tv film and radio couldn't find happiness In his private life He of all people deserved that
There's an episode of this that can be streamed from BBC UK, Season 1 episode 6 Kenneth. If anyone in the UK can rip it, that would be good. I tried uing VPN, but that site detected that. I think in this episode Tom plays "I got it from Agnes" (basing it off a video where he performs it and you can see the clothes, scenery and the host's face).
I am in the UK and so I went to BBC iPlayer to see this episode (season 1 ep 6) you mention. Sadly it is not the full episode of that interview, but a collection of the interviews from the few times that Kenneth Williams has been a guest on Parkinson. :(

Sadly missed, but never forgotten. Thanks Kenneth
He was such a funny man and made everyone smile. Never to be forgotten 🇬🇧

In a way Parkinson is like a psychotherapist, they ask a question and let their patients talk.
So sad to think that every one of these wonderful talents is now dead. So good we have You Tube to remember them.
@@andyosb Tom Lehrer’s still alive at 96
@@TLSongsss Oh, that's good. Sorry I wrote him off! 😉
Watching this one day after the loss of the great Maggie Smith… 😢
God knows we miss him, oh how we miss him.
Sorry, every time I hear Kenneth Williams speak and watch him, I just get in my mind Chris Barrie's spot on imitation of him.
I remember the excellent match of Jimmy Reid v Kenneth Williams , Jimmy Reid won its great television

@@grahamparker7861 Ahh darn. I appreciate you for trying. Means a lot :)
@@TLSongsss I suggested a way to rip it, you don't think I would've done it if that was the case? 😂
