Done with MHG on 3ds years ago then followed by MHW and MHR. I Find those lacking my taste and I wanna go back to some classic MH that gives its unique charm on enticing old players like me. Thank you for the refresher!
I prefer using guild style + unhinged spirit and sakura slash as those will get me red buff in no time and somehow I just suck at getting the "pro"part of valor as I clear it nowhere near as fast as guild style did
Nice, espically on the button example, but at around 3:50 with the buttons it may look like you may use L button, which you said Left joy stick. I suggest you use a a more rectangular shape for r button next time, or make a little indicator that the left joystick goes up, like an arrow. just a little nitpick. Also FIRST. ;P

Practice alot, and the timing is strict. it's hard to use when playing in multiplayer. Only certain monsters are easy to counter, it requires u to learn the monster attack patterns.
A year old but here you go, an actual tip. Go into valor stance by holding Y. Pay close attention to the monster attack, the specific point of the attack animation that triggers the sheath/dodge is the same point you want to GP. Very useful for some of the weirder attacks.
Attacking returns some valor juice, so you'll be in valor mode for much longer if you're constantly attacking. Rewards for successful aggressive playstyle. If you practice parrying with R1 (in valor mode), you can create more windows of opportunities to keep attacking, easier said than done hah, gl.
Where do you unlock the LS art that drains your hp for more damage? I can't seem to find the info anywhere online. If you know the quests for all of the lvls that would be great.

@@SlayerJaeger Last time I tried striker it was a complete spirit combo, putting the weapon away and leveling up your guage? Unhinged spirit and striker style is a pretty good way to spam full spirit combo effortlessly keeping you in red the whole time.
Don't understand the video how the fuck do you block and counter it with an attack like critical juncture. And how to enter Valor blue mode to use Valor attacks.
when u use critical juncture your character stops moving and enters a perry state if u get hit u will perry.the mosnter to enter valor state u need to fill up the valor gauge by using valor attacks, u do this by pressing y then ether x or a

it decreases by time but if u keep attacking the monster it gives u some valor gauge

yep. the window is shorter than average charge blade guard point tho so it takes a bit of practice.
