Maybe you know this but this whole song including the vocals was done by ICS Vortex, their bassist. And in the past (1999-2009) he worked as a backing vocallist for DIMMU BORGIR...and during that time dimmu were on their peak. Check out their song called The insight and the catharsis, because on this song vortex had one of his best performances.

Oh, god... I loved your video. Yeah, I just discovered Borknagar like a week ago. Man! I'm in love. Is weird for me that I took so many time to get them, 'cause I like Dimmu Borgir since 2007, and I got impressed back then by that incredible voice of ICS Vortex. F... You can listen to that passion and potence in this track.
Also wanna say that I got touched by those words you say... 😞 "What a time to be alive and listen to this music". Just earlier was listening Fall and Winter Thrice, and thinking how much I'd love to hear those incredible cds with a friend of mine that I lost back in 2018.
And your final thoughts about feeling and being bigger than those things that sometimes happens to us, or your own mind tells you... Man... I hope I could have the opportunity again of saying that to him. 🙁 So he could still be here with me, sharing so much music as so many times we did.
