I don't suppose it runs anymore, most of the people I spoke with in the 1970s said if it wasn't for the Flower Growers the service would have been stopped years ago

... a fine dance of seamanship. I guess that Penzance has been putting ships in drydock for a few hundred years, now.
I suppose that you're always racing the tide. One slip up that delays you and they'll dock your wages until the next high tide.
