      @@spendtimesavemoneydiy exactly :) I wont be using my new table saw for this as too nervous with the size of MDF sheets,, but absolutely with my circular saw. Can't wait to buy my first biscuit joiner :)

      The Carpenter's Daughter can I suggest you use the skill saw to cut the mdf to a manageable size then use the table saw to cut the pieces. It will be a lot more accurate that way.

    • @spendtimesavemoneydiy
      @spendtimesavemoneydiy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've had a few comments like yours. I stupidly assumed people would understand that I use what I have available so industrial machines and they could use what they have available or get it cut in a diy store. I should have maybe said that or used more basic tools. I have done so in my video making a radiator cover for a little girls room.
      I did a separate video about fitting them.

    Hi, just been browsing the youtube vids trying to find some advice on what to use for dowling on a rad cover that has arrived with dowels way to small. None of the shop bought ones fit the parts either and wondered if anyone had any bright ideas on what I could use to replace them? If it was a rawl plug I would fill it out with matchsticks, but I'm not confident enough to try it on this cover. Any advice would be most appreciated, Thanks
