Thank you so much for sharing this journey! Absolutely amazing. ❤ I loved the waterfalls, ocean, flowers, woods and food. I hope it has been a healing, restorative experience. Rest well 💜
Lots to look forward to! Can't wait to see you walk into Obradorio Square again. Can't wait to see the tattoo! Can't wait to see what Jimmy song makes the final track. Can't wait to hear about the paella and sangria-making! I hope you will post a video of all you learned from the master. ;-)
What a great summary of expectations…I love it! I think most of that has been covered by now. Jill attended the same paella and sangria workshop a couple of days ago and said it was great, so I am really looking forward to it! I would be happy to share what I learn from that, the recipes, and anything else. You can reach me at dcockrell27@gmail.com if you would like. Thanks!

Dennis - Please explain the tradition of putting stones on milestones along the route. What does it mean to you and thank you for your willingness to share your many moments as you travel. ¡Buen Camino! Mark :o)
Great question!!! I know the history of building cairns to mark routes in ancient times and to bring a stone to leave at Cruz de Farro. However, I don’t know if there is a significance of leaving stones on the Camino markers. I did it because it was fun and interesting and others have been doing it for decades. So, it is a tradition on the Camino, however, I don’t think there is any significance. It is just a way to leave a mark of our passing probably. I will keep my eyes out for an explanation now that you have mentioned it! Thanks for coming along for ride!!! 🙏
Gracias.
@@placidobaamonde6374 Yes, Galicia is a beautiful region and I loved walking through it. I also like how the regions differentiate themselves from each other and they have their own ancient culture and traditions. That is one of the things I love about Spain!..everyone is very proud of their region, and rightfully so!!! We really do not have anything similar in the US, probably because we do not have as long and rich of a history as you do. You live in a very bet place! Take care! Thank you 🙏
I decided to take the bus after walking 700 miles. I plan to return next year and walk from Santiago to Finisterre to Muxia and back to Santiago. I’m already looking forward to it! Thanks 🙏!
Gonna have to start weaning myself from these daily reports! Have so enjoyed your incredible journey. Best to all😎
Thanks again!!!! 🙏

Paella y sangría? No te enteras que estás en Galicia con una gastronomía excelente propia: mariscos, pescados, carnes, y vinos propios.
