All those opinions were laughable except for this one: McTominay will be a future legend at Manchester United if he continues to improve the way he does. Two years ago I remember thinking this guy hasn't got a cat's chance in hell at United, but now I wouldn't have anyone else of our squad in that defensive midfielder spot. We can improve on him in the transfer market, but unlike Darren Fletcher (who is underrated) McTominay is currently our first choice and improves the team massively. I know United now is incomparable with United 10 years ago but if anything that should make McTominay stand out more. His absence during injury was very much felt this season and we improved on his return. I can see him being a one club man and future captain but it is still early days at the moment and only time will tell what happens.

All those opinions were laughable except for this one:
McTominay will be a future legend at Manchester United if he continues to improve the way he does. Two years ago I remember thinking this guy hasn't got a cat's chance in hell at United, but now I wouldn't have anyone else of our squad in that defensive midfielder spot. We can improve on him in the transfer market, but unlike Darren Fletcher (who is underrated) McTominay is currently our first choice and improves the team massively. I know United now is incomparable with United 10 years ago but if anything that should make McTominay stand out more. His absence during injury was very much felt this season and we improved on his return. I can see him being a one club man and future captain but it is still early days at the moment and only time will tell what happens.

McTominay is still young and is still improving where are Matić is on the decline. Are you honestly trying to say that in the future Matić will be regarded as a better United player than McTominay? And in regards to goal conceding, Matić has only had any real game time since December ish which was about the time when Maguire had his upturn in form. I'm not trying to take anything away from Matić as I think he's been quite good this season, but he's not been better than McTominay.
