John, I know you posted these videos a couple of years ago and I am just now looking into going Carrera Digital and I cannot thank you enough for sharing your knowledge with someone like me. I can build a building to house the layout but I am clueless when it comes to wiring all of the peripherals. Also, the layout is beautiful...... you certainly take a lot of pride in your work. I am a woodworker and I only have my reputation to stand on so I don't let nothing out of my shop that I am not 100% done with. If I would put it in my house to be judged daily then I will send it out. Makes for some long nights LOL
Hey John, I hope you’re healthy and happy. Love your channel. Are you still working on Glendale? Hopefully you are. Can’t wait to see more stuff, my friend.
Thanks John for this video explaining your setup for jumping distant track pieces! I'm not Electrically inclined, I don't have the electrical smarts as you or anyone else TH-cam other than the Carrera system. I'm just a simple guy who want's his 110' digital track Pit lane and the other lane changes to work properly. I have the 5mm Carrera jumper (cables) wire set and yes, It is Rather Pricey to be just setting on the floor next to my 110' layout! The Red and Yellow wires are THROWING ME OFF! Normally we see Red and Black being Pos + Neg but, Carrera Elected to use Black & White for 1 lane and Red & Yellow for the other lane and the instructions on which wire is which isn't termed in SAE technical terms. Do you think you can give a Rookie some insight on which wire is which PLEASE? ! ? I REALLY NEED to Know so that I DON'T SCREW UP My EXPENSIVE DIGITAL BLACK BOX CONTROLER!
