- Jarred Taylor and Eli Cuevas host special guests Eddie Gallagher and Donut Operator. Eddie is a former Navy SEAL accused of war crimes who was later found innocent after a highly publicized court martial procedure. Donut Operator is a popular internet personality who brought recognition to the case when he published a video to TH-cam breaking down all the facts and evidence available to him at the time. The video conflicted with the mainstream media's portrayal of Eddie and rallied the support of thousands to Eddie's defense.

I'm to the point where no matter what the story is, when I hear or read a headline, my default reaction is "well what's the rest of the story" and that's exactly why I love donuts content. He has zero difficulty calling out if a cop is in the wrong in his breakdowns, but he will sure as shit point out if the media has it wrong, and propagates bullshit to people who can't take 10 minutes to do some research. If they spent half the time researching stories as they did making shitty signs and slogans, there would be waaaay less bricks through innocent store owners windows. I'm pumped for Eddies freedom, and appreciative of the sacrifices and service of all 4 of these guys for the beautiful country I call home. Thanks gentlemen!!!

After listening to the audio book, it almost sounded like a courtroom novel by Michael Crichton. That the Navy and NCIS got away with violating Chief Gallagher and his family(spoiler: His kids got dragged out of the house by NCIS in their underwear while NCIS searched Chief Gallagher's house), and no one was court marshaled for their actions is a travesty.
Eddie is the prime example in my personal life where I am glad I did research and heard his side of the story. Because I really enjoy hearing him talk. Glad he is free and is able to live his life.

Let me say - for someone that won’t ever vote Republican again, really can’t stand Trump at all(except I do grab my popcorn when he goes after my gov Lil FaScantis) - just listening to Eddie - who’s story I’ve followed for the last 4 years and have ALWAYS CALLED BS on his story since Donut blasted it - I love this. I love watching guys of old school breed, talking shit, bustin chops, and giving mass respect to the Chief who absolutely deserves every ounce of respect. And I honestly LOVE getting good reports on the positives on Trump. It just makes me remember how we used to laugh our asses off and not get so fucking twitchy.
I have 2 brothers who served and I’m extremely proud of them for so many reasons but their service is major to me.
Eddie - thank you and your wife and brother and whole family for your service and for fighting so hard to get your true story out!! All you guys who did what you did, went through what you went through - for ALL OF US no matter who we are, what we deserve or not, what we believe, what we look like - you guys did it for all of us. When starting the podcast, I went on Google to check who Eddie is. I might've heard of him on Donut's channel, but I didn't recognize his name.
That said, it seems that the person who worked on his Wiki page believe he's 100% guilty.
The way the article is written really shows the bias. It's quite awful.
And also, I agree his story would make quite an interesting movie. And as another commenter (@Danny Brailey) proposed, Chris Orator would suit the role quite nicely.
Anyways, I'm glad Eddie is okay and was able to come here share part of his side of the story. I can't wait to hear more about him, he seems like a great guy.

The lack of integrity shown by the US Navy in this instance, from its enlisted men through to its commanders, is incredible. I am not sure how they expect to recruit people to try and live the US Navy ethos that includes the words "Integrity is the foundation of our conduct", when this is how they treat their people. The finding guilty, and subsequent admission of trial tampering in the case of Navy SEAL Chief Keith Barry is another poor example of this lack of integrity.
Yeah man, I understand nobody is perfect, but this is definitely an ink stain on their reputation. It’s a shame, but most are good people.

The Competing book idea is great, but I have an even better idea. With BRC's ability to put out extremely high quality video content, you guys need to make a spoofy "Eddie Gallagher, a Hallmark Channel Christmas War Crime Movie" or something like that.
