Jared, that is absolutely stunning. Watching you cut the tiny tape bits reminded me of one of your previous ship video. I hope all is well with you and your family .
Thanks, I agree, but I think that Bandai are making a lot more money with their Gundam and other anime related kits. But I can't help imagine what some WWII kit would be like :)
My brother has been collecting a lot of these from the past few years and I'm going to build more of them soon. I just wish they'd release the Domelaze again.
Very nice. Once again the extra you put into the painting really makes the details stand out. The only thing I did not see was the LED in the final build. Did you not use it?
I was building this for my brother and he didn't want it added, so I left it out of this build. But it's a cool add on to have included with the kit, I might use in on another Yamato build in the future.
painful but so worth it. excellent amount of patience and experience. i am impressed

Thanks :) I think that this was the new Tamiya 1.0 mm tape, so that made things a bit easier on me compared to some of my other builds haha.
Great work bro
Thanks Nigel :)
Beautiful paint job, I love these kits, and Bandai do such an outstanding job of engineering them, I wish they's go into Armor, Aircraft, and Ships. 😀

Reminds me that I need to dig out all of my SBY 1/1000 ships and start working on them.

Cool as always 👍

I need to remember your flight beck here for the Essex class carrier I have in the build cue.
Também Amo Yamato/Starblazers !!!
It's a great show, and they provided some excellent model kits :)
There's no way I could have lifted that masking off and not have any bleed-under. It always happens to me!
Nice job, but you left many gaps, that could be closed with putty...
Nice job, she loks great. Reminds me of a show I watched growing up . I think it was called Starblazzers from the 80's.
