Just remember start big and with extra space between stuff nothing more anoing than not having enough space i learned the hard way to do redstone first before building's and interer design
Your Birthday stream was pretty cool!! The idea with the flashy lights to show that the system is still working would also add to the "futuristic" side of the build. Flashy lights/leds = futuristic.
