I put one of those little tables on the back door of my Defender about 3 years ago and use it all the time. I love it and get asked about it often. A perfect size and a lot cheaper than the Frontrunner ones. The clips are just fine. I never had a problem with them.

It's a great technique, but yes, it does warp the wood. I have used it on oak furniture and decorative items like bowls and chopping boards. It looks amazing on cladding though.
@@jonnysnakes5417 thanks mate! The aftermarket door seals are okay… not the best quality- the front drivers door perforated the same day I fit it. But the original seals are over £500 so I’ll live with it for now.

You could use normal wood screws for mounting those table! But I love the burnt ply look. Its nice!
