As an island nation we need all four SSVs for natural disasters and assistance. But as LPDs, all 4 are severely lacking. Just add the Bofors 57mm big gun, twin Simbad Sadral mls/ Aselsan Gokdeniz CIWS, 2 secondary 25-30mm autocanon, ECM.
I wonder if we instead got 2 more frigates or OPV's instead of this 2 LPD's coz we already have 2 of this type of ships n its not of urgent need. What we need are offensive naval assets such as frigates or corvettes to patrol n put more teeth to our national defense coz yes 4 LPD is nice but yet we only have 6 LST n 2 LCV so unless all 4 are to be fully equipped, 2-3 of the LPDs still cant function well as designed. Unless of course we plan to conduct an amphibious landing attack on China's artificial islands all at the same time to get back our lost territories. This 2 LPDs could have scheduled to be built probably in the later part of horizon 3.
