Someone please tell me why these young ladies were hanging out on the side stage instead of accepting an award?
They where on the extended play stage. During the broadcast, MTV only played short sound bite of this song.
You would be surprised to know that it is his first formal presentation on TV.
Because MTV and its audience don't like rock music. They should have been up for "Best New Artist" [Dove Cameron, REALLY?], every single rock category, including "Best Album" [Error], and any number "Latin" categories that they fit into.
Because MTV has had its head up its a$$ since the late 90’s, especially where metal or rock music is concerned. It has now become largely a forum for Taylor Swift, the latest K-pop groups, and a lot of incoherent, vulgar rappers.
I do know of one rock group that is a little better than the Warning [but barely]. MTV never liked them either. You can find statues of them in Liverpool.
These girls are rare diamonds amidst the filth that is current music.

These sisters have been a band for over 10 years and a catalogue of over 50 songs. They have a huge following already lovingly referred to as The Warning Army (TWA) and are really blowing up the music industry this past year, touring and opening for big names like Muse, Guns N' Roses, Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Three Days Grace... to name a few. When is the American music industry going to recognize and acknowledge the "error" of their ways? Rock is NOT dead despite your efforts to kill it here in the early 90's. It has simply migrated to places like Mexico and Japan. Thanks ... I'll spend my "money" there supporting bands like this ;) . Keep your pop and rap.

Saw the warning last year with halestorm and most of the songs they played did sound heavier live. They did sound amazing live.
What I don't understand is that the artists who performed on that stage are more viral in number of views, but this song(MORE) is a true hit in the style of the major Mainstream labels. What's going on here?. These girls are a phenomenon. Something is not clear to me about this.
The mainstream public is not accustomed to seeing artists handling instruments. They're used to flashy dance choreographies and image, rather than talent.
In fact, about the artists who played on that stage specifically, the Warning is the one that is achieving the most "virality". They didn't play on the main stage but on a secondary one and the songs came out as intermissions. The other two who played on the same stage, Kaliii and Rene rap, right now have fewer views than the Warning
It is a mystery. They've had some success breaking through with songs going back to the title track from their first album, 21st Century Blood which got limited airplay years ago. There are some radio stations that have played their music in the US and Canada but its been limited. They were an independent band in search of a good fit for a label for years and they were approached by huge entertainment corps and labels to sign but they were asked to compromise themselves and so they chose to be true to their goals and not sign. There are two TedX presentations from 2016 and 2017 where they play original songs and tell their story that are both informative and inspirational, giving background into what drives their passion.

Music is big-business nowadays; controlled by giant conglomerates. These giant corps own radio stations and media groups (audio,visual, print) so they only push products they already own, which is most of the pop and rap music being shoved down people’s throats, that’s why they all sound the same. TW refused to be bought-off by these giants, so they’ve been paying the price for the past ten years. And, even though TW has been churning out music that’s superior to anyone else out there, they only get as far as word-of-mouth… which is where we come in.

I think it's an amazing partnership that will get Las Hermanas the exposure they need and deserve. I love a lot of bands that will never make it to even this level, and The Warning? I want them to go farther. If anyone can push a group to become a household name these days, Flom is on the list.

There have been others. Maybe take a look at Maneskin, Wolf Alice, The Sixsters, The Pretty Reckless (not that new but fit in your 15-year horizon), Thunderpussy, Greta van Fleet, Beyond the Black. Maybe even Heilung. Cherri Bomb were great too, but they didn't last long. Plenty more too - there is a lot of good rock music out there.
Alright. Who forget to tell me these ladies exist? I came here from the Evolve performance and as a long time metal enthusiast they sucked me right in! Fantastic performance!

the sad thing its hard to get a big audience in the US for the Warning, Central America, South America, Mexico, Europe they are huge packing large venues. I saw them in a small venue in Vegas, Brooklyn Bowl, they tore the roof off, in front of a small crowd.

@III_SLEEP_III I agree with you. The SNL stage isn't all that it used to be. It's just that so many huge bands have done SNL and also late shows. It would be great to see them on Fallon or Kimmel. The more they get on American TV the better.

Are you finally paying attention, children? They are not telling you how great they are at creating music - they are showing you. They are noting using voice effects to correct tone because they actually can sing. Likewise, they all learned and know how to play an interment. Proving they have an ear for the tone. This cost them earned talent and a gifted voice, not money. Don't need a rep when it's clear to see they actually have the aptitude to be a band that creates music. No remix that's way more than a remix. Live, real and doing it up. This is real music. I wish them the best!
You know, I’ve come to the conclusion that the trolls who inhabit this comment section are merely frustrated fans of bands that The Warning have blown off the stage. It’s almost as if someone pissed in their breakfast Cheerios. And the best part about it is that these nitwits keep coming back for “MORE”.
It's very funny that they come to the MTV channel where we all know that most of it is trash music, to criticize the only band that composes, sings and plays their songs live.

It's only a few years away. If The Warning can release something in time to really hit the winter holiday season in '23 or the late spring/early summer of '24, they should be set.
Sure, but I'm not sure the main stage was prepared for them. They put everyone else to shame, and the audience would have needed dental surgery to replace the jaws all over the floor.

This is literally a track and probably lip syncing. they're not playing their instruments, they're just pretending to.
@@emodro Their use of backing tracks is for bits they can't play themselves during live performances. Not to replace their playing and they don't use them for vocals.
There have been times where, due to technical difficulties, they were unable to use the tracks but cracked on with the performance anyway and the audience didn't even notice.

@@emodro wrong - There is a backing track for other instruments and an extra guitar with FXs but that's it. Check the other song they played, no backing track. Each artist had 3 tries to get each song right and The Warning did it in a single take per song.
They're sisters, there's a vid of two of them playing classical music together on the piano when they were little kids. The bass player is only 19 but they've put the work in for years. I hope they make it. We need real musicians like this, not more karaoke acts.

@@donaldcummings8407 I’ve been following them for a couple of years and to be honest MORE is my probably my least favorite song from these ladies. I also have been around the block a few times. I’ve been finding my new rock music mostly in the blues rock genre but The Warning and bands like Rival Sons, The Answer and Dirty Honey are my hard rock favorites.

Paulina is a beast on the drums and vocals and Dani's guitar work and vocals are killer. So glad to see women keeping guitar rock alive .. all from other countries... The Warning from Mexico ... Like I said in the other song's comments: WHERE Y'ALL BEEN HIDING THIS BAND? My goodness that lead singer has some stage presence and an amazing voice. And this song goes from gritty funk (verse) to alternative (pre-chorus) to grunge (chorus) without missing a beat! They also look like they're having the time of their life, and that comes through with how they've got the audience involved even though most of the crowd, like me, hasn't probably heard of them. And oh yeah, they're VERY photogenic 🙂.

These sisters started melting faces a decade ago. Over the past two years they signed a record deal and started touring the US, Canada and Europe. They are honest straight forward musicians. No auto tune, just kick ass music. It is fun to watch an act that loves every second of what they do isn’t it!
