I started out on NASCAR Thunder 2003 as well. I wish Ed Soundhead would return but it doesn't seem likely. He is on a 14 month break and no idea when he will return. Hope he is doing well
I wish I could play this on playstation 4 or 5. This mod is badass. I love these older Nascar. Back when racing was super competitive. Anyone could win. Now it's all about wind reduction and aerodynamics. Still love NASCAR either way. Thanks for showing us these beauties.👏👍🤙🎮🕹🏁🏁🏁
I'm amazed this mod still works at all. But if anyone could get it working, it was gonna be Neil. And of course as I watch the video typing this, I find it's the new mod. They look so damn similar.
Dreaming of a few 10-15 lap races at some of the game's bigger ovals between Neil and friends. Turn on realistic damage, have the drivers pledge to bump (but not dump, at least until the end), and let the fun begin. Great video man

Driving backwards on the track... I did that all the time in the game NASCAR Racing from the 90s. Fun times! The carnage is way better now, though!

Nascar Heat 5 is truly the nascar king but i wish you could mod it for older and random drivers like this.

What i find interesting is....its 80s celebraties now? The last time i saw a Soundhead video on this mod it was Nascar Drivers, 80s and a few more modern ones. I wonder if NASCAR went after the mod maker and forced him to change it. Corps ruin everything

At Talladega, you were trying to race in the Clean air instead of running right up someone back and Drafting. Those big tracks you lose Speed running by yourself! Talladega Should normally be about 190-195 MPH.
Drafting isn't a thing in Wreckfest.
Are you and soundhead entertainment the same person?

I used to watch his videos all the time. I was wondering whatever happened to him and i couldn't even remember his channel name because I'm a terrible person

Just so you know the Nascar Ai driver names arent there because the game generates random order Ai names each load up, so no way of having correct driver's in thier paint schemes, so i chose to have famous macho/car men from fhe 80s as the Ai driver names.
You can see the correct driver anyime in the entry list as the cars themselves are named as the drivers, but no way of fixing the actual Ai drivers to specific cars
