Great explanation. Thank you. I just felt the antithetic riedel conjugate in your last diagram should be denoted as dipping North, not West.
Synthetic and antithetic can be explained with respect to the bulk/main sense of shear at 7:50. That means low angle Riedel shear (R) will have the same sense of shear as the main shear whereas high angle Riedel shear (R') will have opposite to the main sense of shear.

Can you pleade also tell whats a litsric fault ? Is it simply a fault with curved fault plane? Or am i missing any important character?
