I want to bring one scanner to school to scan my notes at that second so that i dont have to worry bout my losing my notes in school
but phones are not allowed so i need a pen scanner with in built memory
and i think iriscan book 5 is the best suit for me

I got the Brother DS940DW , very nice, also works perfectly on Linux
before I had the fujitsu ScanSnap iX100, but it just stopped working after 3 years, when starting it, the blue led with flicker and nothing , too bad, not sure what happened
the DS940DW feels better build quality than the iX100 (the iX100 got also really expensive), but iX100 is lighter.
DS940W also works wireless under linux , just install their deb package and you can connect
To install you need to connect to it wirelessly (it ihas its own AP) and then config the wifi network.
the scanning quality of the DS940W is a little better than the iX100 on 300dpi / 600 dpi
