Is there a diagram of the contacts of the lock connector? I would like to measure with a voltmeter whether or not the signal comes to the pusher. I have adjusted the lock with your method! Thank you!

We can see very well how you take the whole lock (5K0827505A) apart and put it back together, but which part of the lock caused the malfunction? Maybe there is a chance for me to repair mine without buying a whole new one... Cheers
@@marekwalasek6701 Had the problem where lock would not latch. I studied the problem (it took me too many hours!) and found that the cause is a broken 'clock spring' sitting in the hub of the big white plastic gear. (You can't see the spring unless you pull the gear completely out). It's difficult to describe the mechanical process but when the motor is activated, that big white gear turns and drives a plastic part along a plastic spiral shaft toward a stop and in the process the said plastic part pushes a black lever which unlocks the mechanism. Now when the plastic part (which runs on the spiral shaft) hits the stop, the big gear reverses its rotation due to the compression of the clock spring the tension in the spring is weak ( yes, surprisingly there is still some tension stored in the spring even though it's broken!) and The clock spring is a very fine many-coiled brass ribbon spring about 2mm wide and I would not know how to repair it - maybe a watchmaker would have the means to replace it or perhaps he would make a new spring. I don't know. Anyway I wouldn't know where to get a replacement spring (if at all available) and that's what one would need ideally to repair the root of the problem. Sadly the conclusion is to buy a new actuator or indeed the whole lock.

My 2007 Rabbit - back door won't open at all. Car fob, driver door switch... nothing does anything. No sound either. Can not get the back hatch open. Please help!

Vipul Kapoor I did and snapped a clip. I don’t understand how that clip works as they others are standard pop off ones. The one where I snapped the trim looks like it slides. Now my boot rattles like mad :(
this part was already repaired before as this mechanism can't be opened!!!it has rivets that hold both metal plates together,in this video you show that there are 2flat head screws...anyway nice try
