I can’t believe there are no comments on this. Please don’t quit, you’re a wonderful teacher 😊. I spent ages this afternoon studying my drawing & comparing it to my reference. I could see very clearly that something was off but I couldn’t figure out what it was. I have studied Loomis to the point I never want to see a Loomis head ever again. That was no help. I knew there was a skill I lacked & I was confident yours should be the first channel I should check. This is what I’ve been missing. I’ll be saving this video & watching it a thousand times more. (I can’t do Patreon but if you have a book I’ll buy it 👍).
There is another measuring technique called "comparative measuring" same principle but a bit more complicated. Sight size is a good way to start students off with a measuring technique.

Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it. But sorry no book yet, just Patreon at the moment.
I can see how this works if the picture and drawing are the same size but how would it work if you want a larger drawing?
